Here's something I've been wondering about for a while. This is a personal opinion too.

What's more humiliating?

1. Being tickled by a group of people?
2. Being tickled by one person while a group is watching.

I've seen movies featuring both, and was wondering which would be more humiliating to you. Personally it would be tickled by one person while a group is watching.
 
hmm i've often fantasized about both of those...both would be humiliating, but make it a public tickling, where there is a huge huge audience..then it would be truly humiliating...
 
I`d have to agree that being tickled by one person in front of others would definitely be more humiliating! Although,I think it is something that I would find to be wonderfully humiliating,as long as it was done in a setting among people who wouldn`t destroy me in the community/real world!

I don't get it

Why is either of those scenarios humiliating?

Laughing in public hardly constitutes embarassing
behaviour (Unless you're at a funeral, perhaps),
and as many people are tickish, I hardly doubt
that the public would be laughing derisively and
pointing saying "wow, how humiliating"

My experience with people being tickled in public
is that, if anything, it causes more laughter and
tickling from those around, as though it were
contageous.

No humiliarion here.....just good old fashioned fun...
 
Yep. Same here. I dont' find it humiliating at all....until some ninny comes along demanding more cowbell!
 
Ok, ok... look at it from a different point of view than. What if you didn't like it.
 
Being a 50/50 switch and liking both giving and getting I cannot look at it from another point of view....

One can only use their own mindset as a point of reference......


That is like asking a guy what if you were a woman and a woman what if you were a man....no way to properly answer....

why i would be embarrassed when i love to be tickled, is still nagging at me, but i think that setting would.
 
Personally, I can't identify with the aspect of being tickled in public, but to me it stands to reason that to be humiliating, it would almost need to be a person who would normally be in a superior position over the person tickling them, in other words, a normally large/strong/powerful person being rendered helpless by someone weaker than them who has discovered their ticklish weakness. Or perhaps not physically stronger, but someone who would normally be in a dominant role, such as a subordinate tickling their boss into helplessness. Or, and I hate mentioning it, but it's obviously possible; the chance of being tickled into losing control of one's bodily functions. Ick. Clearly VERY humiliating.

But as most here have already mentioned, they'd love it and not experience any humiliation. Depending on the situation, of course.

It's not like that at all. And it's pretty narrow minded if you can't look at the question from a different view point. As much as I like tickling I can still look at the subject from the eyes of someone who doesn't. Just because someone loves tickling doesn't mean they are going to enjoy a group of people tickling them, or being tickled in front of a group.

I'm asking a question that's based on a situation. If you enjoy being tickled, and are a strong willed person than their will be a situation you'll find humiliating. Like being tickled by a group of people, or being tickled by one person in front of a group. Being bound and helpless, or begging for mercy.

I'm not trying to sound rude or anything, but this really isn't an impossible question to answer. Even if you enjoy tickling the question should be easy to answer.

No...it isnt...I do not look at tickling as a form of torture and would have no base to reference from....

Just because you can does not mean everyone else can......

Unless I know the person I am tickling will enjoy it on some level, then I do not tickle them....

I agree with the top part, but for the bottom part I have to say thats not the question I was asking. I understand some wouldn't find either scenario humiliating, but I wasn't asking who would or wouldn't find them humiliating. I appreciate the feedback, and at the risk of sounding rude, I only offered 2 choices.

No it does not mean that, but I can only amswer from my own experiences not yours or someone elses.....I can guess at the answer you seek, but it would not be an accurate asssessment of the situation...

It doesn't have to be a personal experience, you can still see it from another point of view regardless if it happened to you or not. And if you can't see it as a form of torture for some, and not others than I'm sorry. But it's still narrow minded to see it from only one point of view, and not others.

I never said I refuse to believe that. Please don't put words in my mouth.
I know there are people out there who can't see it as a form of humiliation, but as history has proven tickling was used for just that. Like tickling is used by kids as a form of play, as we use it as a form of fetishism. But in all honesty I never asked if anyone didn't find the two scenarios humiliating. I don't have a narrow minded point of view. I can look at it from both angles. People who find it humiliating, and people who don't.
 
And people who can't see it any other way. I don't want an arguement Ven. You don't find it humiliating, I don't want you guessing at the question, so leave it at that.

ok let's say the person being tickled by a group of people doesn't want to have it done...a non-consensual kind of scenario...that's what i'm thinking generally for myself...

to be perfectly honest, i've never been tickled by a group of individuals, or in front of a group....sniffs...
