What's your favorite download-program?

Which download program do you like? I prefer eMule myself.

Please read before answering:

Everyone of those choices conclude the mods of the programs, either legal or illegal (for example Kazaa = Kazaa original or Kazaa K++ Lite and so on)

If you can tell the reason for your choice, please do.

My reason : eMule doesn't have a minimum share limit (I know it isn't the only one) and is the easiest to use and has the clearest interface. I also like the amount of "servers" they have, about 20 major servers, not just 100000 hubs like in DC++ and a minimum share limit.
I'm a sworn enemy of DC++ and will not be persuaded into using it.

I have tried eMule and eDonkey. It's sloooooow as hell. I don't think I've ever gotten anything more than a song or two from there and certainly no programs. Actually I have gotten a program or two but it's always something other than what I thought I was downloading. 🙁
Kazaa Lite K++ is by far the best. I used to use WinMX all the time but lately I don't seem to get many results for my searches.

I use Kazaa when I want to download music and other stuff. Kazaa is the only one that I am familar with, so of course I would use it.

One word:Shareaza!

Connects to most networks, good searches, lots of options.

Never tried Shareaza but I will.
I just redownloaded Kazaa Lite K++ as it for some reason had a problem after I did a mega virus/adware cleaning.
I had been trying for hours to download a few simple songs from emule and edonky with almost no success. Downloaded and installed Kazaa and had my songs in minutes.
On a good note I FINALLY finished downloading a music video that emule has been downloading VERY slowly for weeks. 😛

WinMX is great thats what I have. Kazaa isn't my thing I'd rather have Limeware or WinMX

I don't know any technical lingo or anything but by far the best one I've ever used to date (about a year now) is one called "Ares" which hasnt given me any trouble whatsoever. Its really good at recognizing spyware and corrupt files. Look it up if you want to try it, its free 😀 Its especially good with downloading music and video files.

bit torrent is really good but only for things that EVERYONE is currently looking for. Ive found the best way to use bit torrent is to browse through a directory of torrents and get the ones Im interested in that are currently among the most popular rather than searching for something I want.
