Everyone has a favorite saying or two that they might say every so often or they are known by.

One of my favorites came from my dad...

"Let them that don't want none, have memories of not gettin' any!"

What's yours?

Bite me.

No I mean that was my favorite saying. 80'ish but it may come back in 2010. So I can use it again. 😀

DK

Gee DarkKnight. I thought you had an offer I couldn't refuse!

heheheheh.. Just kidding!

Well actually that comment reminded me of one long ago I used to enjoy...Does this ring a bell?

"Look that up in your Funk & Wagnells!"

The funny thing was that my parents really DID have a Funk & Wagnells Encyclopedia and Dictionary for us kids to use!

One of my favorite sayings is from Shakespeare: "'Tis pity, 'tis true. 'Tis true, 'tis pity. Pity 'tis, 'tis true." Just love to watch people's faces, hearing it and trying to make sense of it. LOL.

Smiley

I stole this fromMaster Pete

"When you don't use your head, your body suffers"

So true.😛

Jen

I made DarkKnight Laugh! ok... My work is done here! heheheheh

See... the funniest thing about that is that it was true! Ain't life grand!

Keep Laughing!

Here's another one from the old "Laugh-in" days...

Hey Babe! How about a Walneto!

When asked how I'm doing, I am partial to...

"I still haven't been unwell since last week, thanks."

Just to see the expressions...😀

I had never heard this one until my wife told it to me. Her father used to say it all the time:

"That went over like a fart in church!"

Her father is a strange guy.

I accually used that one day at school, and I got the wierdest looks.

Jan, y'gotta know mine. Heck, most do, it seems. I've had it quoted back at me enough.

"It's all about the love."

It's a good sayin', if y'ask me. There are others that come close, but that's my favorite.

dvnc

That "It's all about the Love" is now a global saying DVNC. It's in Hong Kong and in the UK for sure! heheheh

Two sayings that I like are:

Unicyclists are never two tired.

and

Since each hemisphere of the brain controls the opposite side of the body, only left handed people are in their right minds. 🙂

Favorite sayings

My top 5 favorite sayings are:

1) Wherever you go, thats where you are. (you probably could have guessed that one if you have seen a post of mine)

2)I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

3)Don't worry about your heart it will last you all of your life.

4)I'm not neurotic, I'm just extremly alert.

5)Life is too tragic to be taken seriously. (regretably recent events have proved this one to be wrong, but it use to be my favorite so I guess thats why I'm including it.)

Well those are my sayings I hope none of them offend anyone. Take care.

And always Remember........ That way you will never forget

i heard howie mandel say that once after one of his shows on tv..it kinda stuck with me.

A pastor friend would say this:

"If nobody believes you, it's not a lie."

So many good ones!!!

Love the old Laugh-In references, QB! Brings back memories. My favorites cycle, but this week I have the following:

"Never fight a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent"

"You can polish a turd till your hands are raw, but all you'll have when you're done is a shiny turd" (guess that's more of a proverb than a saying...)

"When angry, count to ten. When very angry....FIRE!"😛

Kim

Hawkikim, your saying about having a battle of wits reminded me of a sign that I saw at the office:

Never argue with an idiot. He'll just pull you down to his level and beat you with experience.
😛

LOL! Love it!!!

These are all terrific quotes. I hope you don't mind if I borrow one or two of them from time to time. Some of them just really fit some issues right now! heheheheh

Some of MadKalnod's Rules:

"Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by stupidity" - Napoleaon Bonaparte

"Never trust anyone who comes from a household where cats outnumber people."

"I'm never ashamed of what I am or what I do. I am, however, frequently ashamed of the people I have to do it with."
