How many different people have you tickled during your life? How many have tickled you? Have you ever even added them up? Maybe it’s time.
New folks sign in all the time and say things like “I don’t have much experience.” Truth is, we don’t really know how much experience anyone has. There has never been an attempt to measure tickling experience with such a large group. So, lets take a shot at it.
It’s easiest to start with quantity. All we have to do is set an arbitrary standard–let’s say that you must have tickled the person or been tickled by them for 20 seconds or more. That time standard will weed out one-time squeezes on the ribs, but it won’t stack the deck against those who don’t use bondage with their tickling.
Anybody can count, as far back as you can remember–babysitters, sister’s friends, significant others, paid companions, gathering attendees. Again, the goal of this measure isn’t to make quality judgements but to get some sense of how many people members have had a tickling experience with.
As Mr. Spock would say, it will be “fascinating” to see the numbers and try to figure out what they mean. Since tickling is related to sexual urges for many, will tickling track with sexual norms?
I wonder if there are any out there who still have their tickle-ginity, either as ‘lers or ‘lees. Possible, I suppose, but how would they know they wanted to come here if some experiences didn’t trigger the urge for more?
Will males have experiences with more people than females? In the sex arena, men with many partners get called “studs” while women with a similar behavior pattern are often branded as “sluts.” Will people react the same way to men and women with lots of tickling encounters?
Will ‘ler and ‘lee totals be lopsided? Will people who have nearly similar totals for the number of people who have tickled them and those they have tickled be considered bi-ticuals?
I have no idea what to expect. Will people list dozens, hundreds, thousands–or will some standard emerge based on age or gender?
People could lie, of course, like folks often do about their sexual parnters, but there would be little point. Thoe lies are usually designed to change reality to fit an expectation, and there are no expectations here. Nobody knows what number constitutes a lot of tickling encounters, so we can’t have biases about how many is too many.
In a later post, we can try to get a handle of quality of experience, I suppose. We could ask how many people have tickled a Playboy model, which will give Wallstreet a total of one and the rest of us gooseggs.
So, take a trip down memory lane and bring your calculator to answer these questions:
How many people have you tickled in your life (20 seconds or more)?
