I've seen many fantasy scenarios and videos that revolve around a well-known tickler who finally switches and is taken to the tickleshed by one or more vengeful 'lees. But as popular as this scenario seems to be it's not necessarily well-received when it actually happens. I've met 'lees who seem to feel almost betrayed when someone they thought was a dyed-in-the-wool 'ler turns out to have a switch switch. Some could never bring themselves to tickle a 'ler. Others have told me that they could never bottom to someone they knew to be a switch.

So I'm curious: how do all of you feel about the 'ler who decides to take a walk on the other side of the feather?

I used to be 100% ler until last September when I went to my first gathering in Dallas.

I came to observe and do a little "ler-ing". I did observe, and I did the ler thing, but something was missing. I travelled 1200 miles and didn't know why I felt empty and unfulfilled. Aint nothin' wrong with a 'ler leeing once in a while or even frequently for that matter. I'm around 90% ler but, I find the sensation of tickle to be most delicious and I'm certainly not going to avoid it just because some insecure sub thinks that it takes away from my power and authority as a dominant being. You know, watching a lady who is dominate ('ler) take the role as a 'lee for some reason is just very sexy.

I've noticed that women get a lot more slack than men in this area. In fact if you look at the history of tickling erotica, it's almost expected that well-known female 'lers should switch at some point (think of Priscilla James, for example). And female 'lees are expected to give as good as they get, at least to other women.

If you make a list of well-known male 'lers who've switched (at least publicly), it'll be a much shorter list.

If the men are ever actually outnumbered by the women at a gathering (come the day!) I think the voting will be spirited.

I think switching is great. I like thinking that my 'ler is able to relate to what I'm going through in a session. In fact, I have a tougher time understanding a 'ler who isn't ticklish, or doesn't like it. Then how can they know what they're doing to me?

I also appreciate the trust and affection it takes for a genuine 'ler to switch. One of my favorite former playmates let me tickle him a few times, and knew that meant he must really like me lot. 🙂

As a young 'ler, I find myself thinking about this more and more. I love tickling girlfriends, and certainly don't mind it when they tickle back, but being a 'lee has been disappointing.

For one thing, none of my 'ler experiences have involved bondage, so I became the 'ler at least partly because I was physically stronger than my girl. When they fight back, even when I kinda want them to win, I always, almost instinctively, give it back twice as good as I get it.

Also, and this is mostly speculation because of the situation already noted, but I don't seem to be perticularly ticklish. Maybe it's because I'm expecting my reactions to match hers, and she is screaming her head off. I'd also like to think I'm a much better tickler than the girls who've taken their shots at me; tickling is not a skill they would've studied so extensively. Still, though, I can't help but think of what a shame it would be if I'm simply not ticklish enough to experience the whole sanity-abandoning feeling of getting the crap tickled out of me.

Intriguing question.

I used to be 99% ler, though not 100%. Now I'm developing a range. In a given tickle session, I can comfortably go from 51% ler to 99% ler. Those numbers are picked for a reason. First and foremost, my true joy is tickling, not being tickled. As fun as being tickled can be, it never crosses the threshold to actually turn me on in and of itself. Tickling does, whenever I want it to.

I also see myself as dominant. Part of it is the fetish aspect, part of it is a throwback to the mentality of the 3rd grade boys vs. girls wars--I'm a boy and I wanna win.

That said, even when I'm in a hardcore tickling mood, I do enjoy a bit of tickling. Several reasons. First, I do enjoy being tickled, even though it's not a turn-on. Second, variety is theoretically the spice of life. Third, it's calculative--the girl is more likely to enjoy it if she gets a chance to fight back, plus they think it's 'cute' when I get tickled (I'm described as having a schoolgirl giggle). Fourth, I consider it fair play. Fifth, I find it an odd source of power: No one has ever yet made me beg, say stop, or use a safeword. Six, the karma is great--for every extra minute they tickle me, they know they can't complain when I choose to turn the tables.

So ya, I do find switching to be enjoyable--though I'm a ler, first and foremost.
