When not a word is spoken: Am I the only one?

While the talk on this board is mostly about harder core, bondage-driven, make-them-lose-it sessions (including from me), there's actually something else I've loved for many years:

Those situations where you're with someone you've known for a long time, whether alone or in public, and in just the right situation, you give her either that quick, unexpected, index finger poke in the side, or the thumb and middle finger, instant claw pinch in the side, she involuntarily jerks her torso, and neither of you say a word about it.

It can repeat again a while later, even a few times, or only be once in that setting... but to me there's something quite hot about the zero mention aspect of it.

If I were to psychoanalyze it, I think there's something about the lack of talking about it that gives it a secretive quality that feels like seduction. And there's another part of it that has to do with the 'lers restraint by holding back and withdrawing after the poke, that demonstrates his control of the situation.

But I have no idea how many other people share this feeling, or have ever even done it?

I do this and love it! My wife is into tickling as well, and doing it in public is really embarrassing for her (and me most of the time). We keep public tickling very toned down for those reasons, but what you have described is something we do more often. If I give her a secret tickle, she'll usually turn beet red, and get really quiet. The tickle is a subtle reminder, "I know your vulnerabilities." We are both strong touch-based communicators, and it's amazing how much is conveyed in those brief silent moments. I'm usually the one doing this to her, but once in a while, she'll surprise me by tickling me in the same way. Like you, I like a lot of the more intense side of tickling, but also like you, I appreciate how simple little experiences like these can be so powerful. I'm glad you put this specific kind of interaction into words. Its something I do, but haven't been so consciously aware of in the way you described it.

Honestly this is more fun than the 'sessions' that you are talking about. I mean I understand having the sessions at times but it should be more than that and as a ticklee, it is difficult to keep getting tickled so much all the time.
