Where to buy feathers? ( besides craft stores)

I'm trying to figure out where to get a nice pointy feather. I've been to my local craft store and all the feathers they have are silky, but kinda flimsy. I've looked online but everything is sold by the pound and I don't feel like spending 80 dollars for a ton of feathers. Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe a website that I didn't know about?

I got a good supply of feathers and brushes at Walmart.

Go to the different crafts stores. In the Northeast, you have Michael's and AC Moore to start with. You must have the equivalent in your parts.

I would definitely err towards getting sanitized, packaged ones. Feathers are wonderful things, but birds are not at all clean aminals.

I ended up going to 3 different stores before finding the perfect ones. Brought them all the way to 'Vegas, and they worked very well!

Besides the above recommendations, there's also the somewhat local peacock farms where you can get an armload of feathers cheap.
