Where's my SPAM??

Okay this is going to sound like a really really strange question but...

What happened to my SPAM??

I've had my same email account through my personal website for YEARS. It's completely naked with no SPAM blockers or filters of any kind (it's web based so I dont download junk). So as you can imagine I've made it onto an impressive number of mailing lists. I get generally over 100 pieces of SPAM per day.
Between Oct. 23rd and 24th I got well over 150 pieces of junk mail.
Oct. 24th I got nearly 100.
But on the 25th I got 10
The 26th I got 6
The 27th I got 7
The 28th I got 10
And yesterday I only got 2!!
What's going on here?
Have all the penis enlarging companies gone out of business?
Do people no longer need larger breasts of cheap Canadian Viagra??

I'm not complaining or anything...I just would like to know if I missed some giant SPAM legeslation or something. My hosting company only offers Spam blocking as an extra service that I didn't sign up for.
Any ideas?

Perhaps they registered that you hadn't replied to any of them and stopped sending.....which is unlikely. Random internet slowdown. Congress finds it hard to enact legislation against spam, despite almost unanimous support from their constituants.

It's just really strange. I check my email several times a day to keep the SPAM in check and now most of the time I have nothing in there. I'm gonna have to contact my host to make sure I wasn't signed onto the SPAM blocker service or something. My host is a big enough rip off without adding another charge.

Maybe they're generating a large burst of spam to hit you with at one time! So much that it takes you an hour to delete it all - and that's with the ability to check everything and kill it all at once 😛

Ive discovered, much to my dismay, that I was given a free month's subscription to the new SPAM filter service.
Why dismay? Because after a month of having no SPAM they know damn well I'm not gonna be able to live without it and I'll have to buy the damn service.
Looks like I'm finally gonna be shopping for another host. Hostsave kinda sucks anyway. Hey and maybe one day I'll actually PUT UP a website. I've had this thing for like four or five years and I still have a mini under construction site. That's one damn expensive email account. 😛

do not complain about no spam. of course as the queen here, the hollywood brother acknoledges your right to complain but just relax. You will never ever be 100 percent spam free for long so just take it as it comes and keep rock, rolling and tickling

hahaha good advice, HB! I'm not complaining about a lack of SPAM. My only complaint is my hosting co. unfairly getting me used to being relatively SPAM-free to get me to sign up for an expensive spam filter. 😛
