Although most of my life I've been given rocks like Charlie Brown at Hallowe'en, my mentality is most like Linus.

If you want a fun read, get "The Gospel According to Peanuts" by Robert Fisher. He spoke at my college once and it was quite interesting.
 
I personally had to go with Linus. I've always been more of the adviser type than the center of attention. Plus I think I share Linus' blind optimism and demeanor as well.

I like the renditions of the characters by the artist...nice to see Charlie still with an interest in Scarlet
 
Charlie Brown looks like a professional baseball player on his way to the majors (move over, Joe Shlabotnik)! Linus doesn't seem to appreciate the attentions of Sally Brown. Schroeder's evidently moved up to a portable electronic keyboard (does he still play Beethoven's Ninth?) and Pig-Pen looks like someone who is definitely not to be messed with! Lucy, Violet and Patty - yow!

I've been a Peanuts fan for many years (there are a few neat tickling scenes in the old series, as you probably know). I always wondered what they'd look like if they ever aged like normal people (I think Mad Magazine once ran an article along those lines).
