I bet at least the first in the industry will be huge sales.

Of course however, as the industry gets crowded good model with real reactions etc. would still eventually prevail. VR or not, at the end of the day bad models and fake reactions still won't do. However, at least there should be easy cash to be raked in for the first several.

James Darke likes to think outside the box. I could definitely see him coming up with a storyline that would not only be good but work particularly well with Virtual Reality.

Isn't it just two images with the special glasses? I mean I saw the VR porn on pornhub.....I thought gopro was more innovative, honestly. Maybe it's just because I wear glasses but I was never enthused about the idea of putting on another set of glasses.

nah bro its not like you think. Its pretty insane now. I can put on a vive headset and its so good it tricks my brain into thinkin I'm in whatever 360 degree video I'm watching or whatever VR game I'm playing. Its legit now.

Just looks like that textbook definition of 3d, placing one image a certain degree from another image so when you wear the goggles it starts popping out....it amazes me just the expense of VR that people are willing to go for when I'm just waiting for original concepts to be created.

If you look at the price of the equipment needed to view VR, I think it's going to be quite a while before the price becomes affordable for the average person. I'm not spending a grand for 1 1st generation technology

Oh definitely. I built my PC in December and my Nvidia software manager is going "you're not ready for VR with a 960", and I was like "But I can play everything I need!" lol. The thing about VR is I really don't WANT a second pair of what's essentially glasses for me, and also, somehow, it's going to get associated with this

Hilarious and horrifying at the same time.
I'm not too horrified, for one, it's all the way across the other end of the Earth. Two....at some point someone is going to say "this just ain't natural" and there'll be a minority of people that just stop going out to see the sunlight because they've found their tech to give all their jollies. But I think that was the major selling point for VR.

I'm excited for VR to become mainstream. Then those who have nevered had a session can try it out! Or if you need a fix but don't have a partner...
