Which show was better?

I am a sucker for crime-dramas and wanted to know which show you thought was better....

1- New York Under Cover
2- NYPD Blue

Never saw the first so NYPD Blue wins by default for me, though to be honest I haven't kept up with that show for the last season or two.

The Shield is OK, actually, but I like the "old-school" shows better.

Vic mackey is as old school as you get. He's Sipowicz x 10. The Shield is better written than NYPD Blue ever was. It's better acted and most importantly it's endings leave one hanging. The Sado Masochist Episode was a work of art and hopefully wins and Emmy.

hhmmmm close call there, when New York Under Cover was on I watched it when I could because I really liked one of the actors, but was never in love with either show. But that is just my opinion 🙂

That's like me watching Jag. I don't normally look at celebrities, but the show's got Catherine Bell. Otherwise, I can't stand the show, seeing a bunch of people pretending to be Marines, with full heads of GQ hair. I don't know why Hollywood allows that crap. I thought they hired military advisors for military shows and movies. Hasn't anyone informed these people what a military haircut is? I know the show is primarily Naval in nature, and the Navy lets their hair grow a little, but gimme a break! Accuracy, people!

Seriously, I'm not a fan of crime dramas, but I like NYPD Blue just because it allows profanity AND nudity on network TV. 😀

barny miller was the best

and most realistic police shows on t.v. ever.
all these other shows might be good drama, or t.v., but for real life police work, and how the job is, barney miller is the real deal.
