baseball is just around the corner.
I hardly follow the National League at all, but I suppose I'd begrudgingly give it to Pedroia in the AL even though I can't stand the Red Sox. His numbers last season were quite good for a 2nd baseman. We'll see if he can repeat that type of performance this season.
was he worthy of being MVP ?
I never thought so and recall being befuddled that he was awarded the thing. His numbers were good, but nowhere near where I'd expect for an MVP.
Alexei ramirez 🙂
I found this in my morning paper and found it quite interesting. Kinsler got hurt on Aug. 17th. comparison of numbers to Aug 17th
CAT Kinsler Pedroia
Ave. .319 .322
Runs 102 90
Hits 165 162
TotBases 268 238
Doubles 41 38
Homers 18 12
RBI 71 58
Sb 26 12
xtra b. hits 63 51
multihitgames 48 48
ther are 10 categories and Pedroia only leads in batting ave. and that could change in ONE day. They tied in multi hit games, and Kinsler won the other 8 categories most by quite a large margin
