Hey guys, soooo a while ago I asked for advice about this dialogue for my acting class, in which we had to act out the context. Basically the situation was, Person B had something, and Person A was trying to get it from them, and B eventually gives in.
The partners were random, and the item and relationship was random. I was Person A for the first round, and I was partnered with this other girl. After a trial of acting out our dialogue, our instructors decided that I was relatively giddy today, so the situation was given that my partner (Person B) had a letter or read a text on my phone about a crush. Something happy. :]
We acted out the scene, "What's that you've got?" I said. She turns around, "Nothing!" I start to front her "What do you mean nothing?" I start grabbing for the invisible object. "Nothing! Just nothing." She pulls her hand away. "If you don't give it to me...I'll..." "What! You'll what?" She challenges me, and as I grab for the item, she lifts it high above her head, and I go behind her and grab her ribs and squeeze a little, and she yells out, out of context, "OH-mygosh!" She curls up into a ball with her feet still planted on the floor. People from the class start laughing and screaming in surprise. My partner doesn't laugh, but I'm grinning now, as I snatch away the invisible object "Don't talk to me like that," I said, grinning. "I will!" "No you won't," I laugh, and she stands up. "Will!" "No!" I say, condescendingly, smiling. "Okay, alright! Sorry!"
Afterward the both of us come out to the front again, and everyone is still smiling. My instructor yells "Who tickles people anymore?!" Both of them commented on how adorable it was.
My partner says, "I'm actually really ticklish, so I was so surprised, I felt so vulnerable, I didn't know what to do."
I stood there bashfully grinning as they continued the critique with positive comments. :]
