I was comming drop a few web finds, when I got this message from Yahoo!

"There is no group called MasterN2005"

WHAT THE F*CK???
I tried to enter on the mail too... and the password seems to have changed too!!!!

I enter that mail 3 times a week to not loose it, and post a message as soon as I can in my group to not loose it either... So, It's not cancelled...

My thing is... HEY! If someone has something agaisnt me, send me a PM or somethig... picking my account and erasing my group really really bothered me...

And everything's gone... I didn't have backup of my stuff since my crappy pc broke down the last 2 weeks ago!!!
So... if no one saved nothing... It's lost for real...

The Nakoruru and Rimururu draws, where GREENLIGHTS yesterday... I even started to look for backdrops for them... But cause of this stupid incident I completely lost my motivation to go on...

I ain't pointing fingers cause I know that no sane person from the Forum could do such thing...

And It's not the first time, the old account I used to save my first sketches is gone too (Remenber "grimtickler"?)... Perhaps it's the same person... It's a luck that this account on the forum is not been touched yet...

I don't hold grudge for this... but It was unfair...

I think you've become the latest victim of a Yahoo! shafting. My first club was shut down, and my grippedchimp identity was deactivated forever, along with my e-mails. I think the same thing's happened to you. And yes, it does suck the biggest donkey balls ever.

There are alternatives, though. You can join DeviantArt, or ask around in TickleTheater.com if you can have a section of your own with your art in it. Somehow many are getting disillusioned with Yahoo!, and with good reason too...

Thats a bummer about your site. Yahoo seems to be screwing people over left and right these days. I second Chimp's suggestion for moving to Deviantart or TickleTheater. Deviantart is pretty reliable, and you can post your work full size.

I downloaded no less than half, if not most of what was on your site and will gladly send it to you if you wish. Try not to let this destroy your motivation too much. I'd hate to see another fantastic artist stop posting.

And I third the notion of moving to DA. Not only is it specifically tailored for artists, you're more likely to create a presense there. And you'll be guranteed you won't be kicked off or your account deleted.

The only things that could end in such a serious consequence are if you were harassing others or posting leud, obscene, or innapporiate material or posts.

Even pictures of an adult nature are allowed there, but if its not in good taste, they will delete the picture without warning or resize it to crop out the questionable material.

I guess I really am blessed or fortunate. In all this time all the other artist's groups are dropping like flys, and yet mine is just fine. Seeing unfortunate things like this happening to other artists makes me not take what I have had for so long, for granted.

My guess is that its some guy or gal at yahoo that gets off on deleting groups or has something against tickling and foot fetishes.

However, this may not always be the case, as some groups are inactive long enough that they are considered worthless and are deleted to save bandwidth.

Ultimately, its a free service, so we shouldn't complain TOO much. This wouldn't happen to a subscribed user.

And until yahoo screws with me, I still will not speak too ill of them since my service and group have never been affected, and they've even personally helped me with their customer service (and I have the free version, like most people here, so they certainly went out of their way).

I will give it to you and everyone else however, that it is unfair, its wrong, and its very frustrating. All that time, energy and effort down the drain and for no reason good enough. Its got to stop.

And thats whether its a renegade yahoo employee or server crashes resulting in idle groups being deleted or bounced. If a group is idle however, its not yahoo's fault, to be fair. They're just doing what they need to to assure groups that are not idle are working effectively and are not strained by the inactive ones.

I agree with these guys, Yahoo just sucks period. It picks on my accounts all the time for no good reason. I get banned from Yahoo! chat for saying words like "house".

DA would be a good idea. There's only one bad thing I can say about it. A lot of the people on it...are complete morons! No offense to anyone who uses it, I'm sure you're not. But jeez! I read the comments people post to other people sometimes, and it just makes me want to stab my eyes out.

Anyway, DA's good, so go for it. XD

But there are people like that everywhere. You just have to put up with them and show them all you're the better man/woman/boy/girl by not stooping to their level.

Alot of people are just jealous, either because of someone's art, or because of the attention that person gets.

A tip:

Don't join DA if you aren't prepared to be critiqued by anyone at any time because of your artwork. This is an actual art site, remember that. And people are far more judgemental and their tastes more broad and refined. They won't always be gentle with you. Expect some coarse, rude people as well as the nice and supportive.

Prepare, because there are mean people there that will sometimes pick on someone and verbally abuse them in a way thats perfectly within the rules.

Don't worry too much however. You can of course report them, and if you have a circle of friends, you can all look out for eachother.

I'd be happy to link to anyone here for that matter, or any other. Sometimes its all about who you know, and that can definitely help in different situations, especially considering the randomness of a person's opinion and what aftermath that could have. 🙂

I know I didn't have any imagination to do a new one... but I just need it to pull off everything you guys saved... so... I can start the new "resurrection" process as soon as I can...

So... when the art is on the way to the mail, post a message, and I'll come back tomorrow during the afternoon...

I succesfully received the art!
I'm glad you saved the tributes...

It's like, It was way too hard to redo them... and for the other ones, I'm alredy redoing them...

One of the draws is almost finished (I fixed it the last night), new coloring, new props, maybe backdrop (I'm not sure if make backdrops for them, they're like too many!), and looks good... better than the original...

So, expect a complete "rebirth" of my group soon in the future.

Thank god I didn't got lost when my account died...
I'm planning to do a new one that might fit the new site.

The "ressurection mode" is succesful, I alredy redid an old draw into a fresh looking one, I'm not bringing it because I don't want to screw up the surprise.

The coloring is quite different than before, might be a 30% better... but it's faitful to your favorite "soft coloring" with no transparent regions and better "Photoshop" quality.

And I don't know if use backdrops... As they take too much time right now... let me know what you think about this.

Even the name of the group will change. It will always be Manga: By Master N (In case you never figured the meaning of the Kanjis) to fit the tributes, ones that I will not touch, but the name will have a little "add" on it...

More to come will be redifined and new art, and maybe, like I said before, I might redo my Banner, or at least make it more "pretty" than before.

If anyone has more of my art, please send it, so I can do more to come later on...thanks!
