Who would name a child Adolph Hitler?

I feel sorry for the boy. His parents are either bigots or have no common sense whatsoever.
 
Heath Campbell said he named his son after Adolf Hitler because he liked the name and because "no one else in the world would have that name." He sounded surprised by all the controversy the dispute had generated.

Who would name a kid Adolf Hitler? Fucking stupid, inbred redneck hayseeds is who. That is so wrong it's beyond comprehension. It's stuff like this that makes me legitimately angry.
 
Clearly the parents are looking for attention...at the expense of their child (at least until he turns 18 and can legally change his name).

Is that not a form of Child Abuse? I think a judge somewhere must have the power to make them change the boy's name.
 
I think they're probably card-carrying neo-Nazis. I may be overworking my imagination, but I read a lot of subtext into the quotation "There's a new president and he says it's time for a change; well, then it's time for a change."

One thing I have picked up on, by the way, is that, while some people who belong to neo-Nazi groups are visibly extreme personalities, others come across on the surface as regular everyday people. And they'll use matter-of-fact turns of phrase to suggest that it's the other people who are the bigots, not themselves. If it's eerie to listen to a loudmouthed hothead yell Nazi epithets, it's even more eerie to meet a soft-spoken, cordial, ostensibly kind-hearted gentleman, make friends with him, and then find out he's one of these people, something which has happened to me.

But in any case, there's no way that anybody who wasn't a neo-Nazi would give a child that name. And what they're doing, essentially, is making their own son a hostage.

We've already had one Adolf Hitler, we don't need another...

It's not the name, it's the connotations that the name carries. The reaction people will have to the poor sod with that name is going to affect him somehow, and I can't see it being in a good way.

Nah. I just can't believe that one of the parents, who attributes German ancestry for naming the child, doesn't even realize that Hitler is *not* German by birth... :facepalm:

Don't worry about the kids; they're probably going to be homeschooled anyway; these types usually don't expose their children to the real world. That's how they control them.

But if not, check the news in a few years when little Adolph Hitler Campbell grows up. There may be a parent-cide in his future!

The name got your attention, didn't it? Mission accomplished.

I had heard a lot of boards of registry are cracking down on names people give kids. A lot of middle names have to do with sports fanaticism and are frequently vulgar (Ryan Yankeessuckass Johnson, Brittany Jeterisafaggot Smith, Matthew Redsoxblowdogs Kelly).
 
I do not know probably the same people who have named their kids tarantula crustacious, and ibeenknockedup (nicknamed ike). there was a radio segment here in memphis devoted to bad baby names of the day. They would go through the commercial appeal and pull horrible baby names. People are morons when they name their kids.

yeah that is till they instill so much of their own hatred into the child that it becomes normal for the child...this is why hate exists from generation to generation...shame really, children are innocent until this world makes them otherwise. One can say part is genetic but it is genetics and environment that make a person.
