Why bondage?

Some tickling ethusiasts essentially regard bondage as a must. I've corresponded with a number of people who felt it wasn't possible to have a truly intense tickling session without it.

I'd love to hear opinions from anyone willing to share, as to why you do (or don't) prefer to use bondage during tickling session?

I'd say it's a must for two reasons- 1) pleasure, 2) safety.

The first is to sometimes accentuate the feelings of loss of control and to totally give one's self over to the sensations and joys of tickling. The second is because I know personally (and of a few other posters here too), who thrash, buck, kick, and flail while being really tickled and it keeps them from pulling something of their own or breaking anything of someone elses.

I prefer being bound for the exact reasons above... I will kick, wriggle, scream, and try and protect myself as much as possible when being tickled. I have had someone not put me in bondage and I kneed him in the head by accident... Also, I love the struggle when in bondage! So please be safe and cuff me up then tickle away! Also, if I am not bound and given half the chance I will tickle you back!!!!

I find that it tickles more, when you are tied, because if you're not, you are able to concentrate your efforts on covering up. If you can't cover up, then those efforts are concentrated on the most pressing theing, which in this case would be the tickling. It seems like when I'm helpless, I feel the tickling a lot more than when I'm not.

Depends on the 'lee. A friend of mine totally flips out when tickled... if she wasn't bound it would be hard and rather dangerous to tickle her. She gets so overwhelemed if she's not bound her will can't control her body. She loves it but by her own admission she has to be secured.

On the other hand, I've played with another very ticklish 'lee for an hour while she was unbound. She was quite hot and sweaty when we were done but she wasn't a frantic squirmer when tickled.

Either way works for me... 😉

I can play both with or without bondage, but for my lers safety, it's truly best to have me bound. Like the others who have posted before me, I trash, kick, swing, buck, and use numerous other defensive movements to try and escape the tickling. I threw one ler across the bed while in full spread eagle bondage, and I've knocked Lazarus out cold with an accidental but well placed knee to the head.

As for when I am lering, primarily on my main victim - Lazarus - bondage is necessary just to keep him in place and keep him from blocking my every attack. Not to mention he'll tickle me back and totally remove any upper hand I may have over him...lol.

We have plenty of sessions both with and without bondage, though.

Second and most important is her safety. As a lee, I thrash. My ler is 5'3" and I am 6'1", 220 lbs. I have no wish to hurt her even by accident.

I wasn't opposing bondage. I was merely interested in hearing everyone's perspectives abou this. It's a fascinating subject, and my own experiences with bondage have been few and far between.

I'm not a violent lee. I can handle it unrestrained just fine. But there's something naughty about being tied. It sort of ups the hotness factor, knowing there's nothing you can do but lie there and take it for as long as THEY want.
