WHY do you read?

I read for entertainment and to escape real life. I'll read pretty much anything as long as it captures my attention. If it doesn't capture my attention, I can't for the life of me finish, no matter how hard I try I just can't get into it.

I'm much like Rob. Mostly a non-fiction reader, here. Something that stimulates the brain... Philosophy, psychology, layman's level stuff on quantum physics... Gives me all sorts of ideas on what is possible in the world and in the mind. Stuff I can draw on for future work.

I've lost interest in reading. I am suffering from depression. 🙁

Woe is me. I hope my love for reading comes back, tho. I miss it.
