Why French Tickling member site is so slow ???

the site was slow last year and is slow now(sometimes it stops!! )
the PAY-per-VIEW is very fast (the band is all for it!)

it will be a lesson in the future ...for me....
i will spare my money...
lots of videos and no-downloads....
is it so slow in rest of Europe???

I brought that to their attention last week. I get about 15KB/sec max download there. They need to co-locate in the US, or get a new host!

Hi.

I'm french. I don't know where they host the pages and the files, but in France connections a very expensive. For non-professionnel, the DSL 512/128 (tho most popular in France) is 30 € (almost the same in USD). DSL 1024/256 is 45 €.

If you want to host your site on profesionnal server, it's really expensive too.

May be they should host it in another country.

It appears that the members area server is what needs a speed boost. It's almost 10 times slower to respond than the rest of the site.
