Why has our fetish declined in web presence over the last 15 years?

I remember when this place was absurdly active, and you would think that in the post-internet age, there'd be even more of us. But I notice that it seems like the tickling fetish peaked in the nineties and twothousands. Why no longer compared to before?

Tickling is considered "too tame" for most folks to consider it sexual perhaps. But are people even developing this fetish anymore in their brains? I remember feeling this way my entire life about tickling. But is it possible that newer generations have a higher proclivity to outright dislike the sensation of tickling to the point where a sexual slant towards it is no longer possible? I do know that there are good reasons that there are way less tickling production studios than there used to be. People don't really like to pay for porn anymore, there's too many options. The clips dried up, and as a result now it feels like a limbo purgatory when trying to find tickle content, everything feels like it was made between 2002 and 2009

I believe that forum websites in general have declined in popularity in this century as the use of apps rose.
More people use smartphones instead of laptops and phones are not great for forum websites.
So, our fetish (or, as I prefer to call it, our erotic interest) may well have grown online, on social media.

Like milagros said, I'd guess it's not that interest in tickling has declined but rather that interest in Web 1.0 has declined. Which is a shame IMO, but I guess I'm an old head

The market is over saturated with clips and sites with clips.....Its easy to find now..
Use to be you had to ready dig to find something..When you did it was kind of a thrill..
Now there are dozens of clips many of them free....Too many resources..

I don’t know what the community was like in the 90’s. I didn’t have access to the internet until the 2000’s. I’ve been in the community since 2002 and I guess I don’t notice a decline in activity. At least at this site. But as others have mentioned, there’s a lot more now. TMF paved the way towards more sites, and now lots of amateurs are making videos and clips. There’s apps now too. But I’ve never noticed a decline here I guess?

Several reasons.

• The foot guys seem to be the mainstays. They are largely purists who abstract sexuality from tickling, some to the absolutest extent.​
• Those of us who enjoy a broader interest may look at bondage, forced orgasm, nudes, 3D, etc. These are interests represented here only insofar as they relate to tickling.​
• The environment has gotten more difficult. Producers such as TA, Intensive and Boston have run their course. Bleu and TMF Jeff are upgrading their existing catalogs to current standards of video and audio quality, but they are among the few. I miss my old favorites.​
• Of course, there are the free sites.​
• I find myself going back from time to time to pages that date from ten years back, and further. I bitterly regret that a virus stripped the site of so many images. I missed out on a great deal. Still, to paraphrase Jimmy Buffett, there's a lot of good sh!t [in] those old records.​

hard to pin point why but as far as this forum , especially the chat room , it has got boring . This forum was hopping back in the days when you had other tickling forums and the aol chatrooms that they were forced to compete with . I remember having the window on this forum and the aol chats both open and would hop back and forth and like everything else once the competition dies off ,the one that remains dosent have to try that hard and it becomes boring and stale
