Why is it that when I log on and click on "new posts" I only get about 1/4 of them, like earlier there where 173 new posts, I clicked on the link and all that showed was 42, when I logged on this time it said there were 29 new posts and all I got was 6, anybody have any idea why??????
 
It shows you the threads that have been updated since your last visit.
 
Chances are that most of the new posts come from the same threads. For example, the almight "Tickle Fight Thread", that gets about 3 posts every minute. Although it gets numerous posts, it will only show the thread in which the new posts were in.
