why is there such lack of tickling fetish information online

i could be Wrong here. But to me anyways it seems as that there is a lack of tickling information online. it seems that Tickling gets lost or shoved off to the side alittle compared to the other big fetishs out there with other websites and information about other fetishes like ***Feet*** for instance. it seems like there is a ton and ton of information on feet and a fetish for Feet for people that are into that more so tickling. really why is there such a lack of tickling information out there for people that are into it or for people that want to explore it more? i know theres this website and the TMF website. but there is other websites etc.. Dealing with tickling ingeneral online as well. But it just seems that tickling is NOT a will known fetish for most people like other fetishs are like feet..bondage etc

Yeah i have also noticed that as well. There needs to be more tickling Discussion on websites and webpages Not just here or on the TMF but other places to on the web as well. Not just some pictures of nude tickling media where someone can ''jack off'' to because to me thats Not what tickling is about. Sure tickling is somewhat of a turn on but it shouldn't surely being about ''jacking off to it'' it should just be fun for everyone without having to add in the Mix of Nudity. But that is just me

I do not think it is just you, I agree totally in all your statements.

I also would like to get some more facts, what do research say about this subject? Could you for example use tickling as therapy against stress and depression?

I haven't seen much research on tickling. I guess it's a subject that most people don't like to talk about.

Well I didn't start actually seeking out tickling info online until 1996, well before forums like this one, there were actually MANY more individually run sites about tickling. Each had their own different spin. Some romantic, some silly and playful, some collections of pics, some collections of stories, some very informational....some had biographies of their life living with a tickling fetish from childhood on....These sites were all over the place, really. Seems like these days, less people maintain their own sites because A) maybe it'd get repetitive, B) sites like these mean there's no longer a necessity for individuals to make their own sites to express tickling interests (we can just do it here instead, plus it's work maintaining a website). That's in NO WAY to say that sites like this one are negative! But everyone probably knows Josie's page. Probably the very first tickling website I ever saw on the net. There are loads of sites like hers that simply dried up for various reasons.

And to be honest, I always felt that those individual sites were the best way for new people to explore tickling better AS OPPOSED to forums. Why? Forums can be overwhelming. People already truly and deeply into tickling adapt ways of talking freely about it that just sound.....well.....CRAZY to others. So I usually tell newbies to avoid the forums for quite a while until they get to learn more about it elsewhere. Inch into the water! Don't dive head first!

By and large the amount of material and discussion about tickling is growing by the day. The TMF, TT and UKTF forums are all growing in members numbers and posting frequency. Things will get better all the time, so there's no real need to worry. 🙂

Ya, must have missed it first time round. I think what you say holds quite a lot of water. I came online in the summer of 1999 at age 21. (Long before the creation of the TMF, TT or TTB.) Probably the first tickling "community" I belonged to was Tom Hawkins adult tickling site. Not so much a community, more a collection of lots of tickling stuff and a chat room. I remember it fondly though. The TMF and TT have pretty much centralised things; I see exactly what you mean.
