Why is this place so Frickin Quiet all of the time?

Another thought to consider. We have a lot more threads than more other boards. All our posts are distributed many, many ways. In stories alone, there are about a dozen archives, each with multiple threads. Perhaps you're only reading the ones that interest you and think that's all there is?

I myself just deleted over four dozen of my own posts for privacy reasons, but that didn't affect Jeff's numbers...those posts were all at least 2 years old.

It's quiet because we're all people who have lives, period.

I, personally, work a 40-45 hour workweek, go to school for 8 additional hours out of each week, and spend about 72 hours a week with my girlfriend. I don't have an amazing allottment of time otherwise to post, but when I get free, I come on and add my three cents to the pocket.

1) The person who makes the most number of posts in a month gets every video from the MTP back-catalogue plus first refusal on tickling any current or future, wife/husband boy/girlfriend of any current or future member of this forum.
Whilst this might be unrealistic, heck, Milagros will win every month anyway, so we can just bribe him to lie and say that he got these things. Hopefully the other members won't cotton on and we'll all struggle in vain to win the prize that doesn't exist (except we don't know that it doesn't exist for the aforementioned reasons).

I am an honest person and can not be bribed to lie.

Maybe you could bribe Mistress Zara to tickle torture me for many, many hours, until I agree to lie.

Hmmmm....

Well, I'm a believer in the thought that quantity does not equal quality. I think we have a pretty good group with a good amount of activity. Sure, there are times when it's pretty quite. But, I see that as a good thing. People have lives outside the internet. (Go figure! 😎 ) I'd rather see fewer posts that actually say something than a ton of goofiness. That's not to say that goofiness is bad. I love being a goof. In fact, I tend to excel at it. But, I don't think you can support a group like this with nothing but. We have a pretty good mix here. So, while folks are working, on vacation or tending to other areas of every day life, we can just relax and mix some other stuff into our days to fill the time. I've actually given some serious thought to naked hang gliding. But, since there isn't anywhere in the area to do it and I'd promptly be arrested for indecent exposure, I've decided that's probably not the extracurricular activity for me.

For me personally... I come and go everynow and then and post something substance when I have the time. The 'quietness' of the board doesn't worry me... if theres a question or a conversation that needs to happen RIGHT NOW, I'll go ring someone that knows or talk to someone on SKYPE or MSN...

Anyway, I can't expect a quick answer here living in Australia means that:

1. Theres only another 80 odd registered Aussie's or something... and I've only seen about 3 post more than one message.

2. I'm going to bed by the time the rest of you people are waking up from yesterday... and I thought I kept late hours at times... gee, some of you American's are so far behind we're lucky we're still in the same week... 😛

I usually visit the forum once a day. It takes quite a whle to get through the various sections - download a couple of clips, some pics, post something in answer to a request, make the odd contribution to a thread - then the same at Tickletheater and finally look at the sites I am otherwise interested in.

Only rarely, if there is a topic that I am particularly involved with do I return to see if there has been any movement. I figure, what is not said today can be said tomorrow.
