I think I might need to replace the Bluetooth Module on my wii. I'm not getting any picture or sound. Even though it's a modded system, I don't think I've managed to brick it since I've been having display issues for a couple months previous to the mod (digital artifacts/lines). The post mod worked fine for a couple weeks. My question is where is a good reputable place to buy this part? Or, if you think maybe it wouldn't do me any good let me know. 😀

Probably the best place to start would be the Nintendo website. Do you have a warranty on the console? If it still falls under the warranty you may not have to buy a thing. Hope it get fixed soon.

If it's been modified, it becomes void. Often times, these devices have a seal that will state something like "Warranty void if broken". Best thing to do is talk to someone at a local GameStop to see if they have any kind of information. A lot of people that work at GameStop are hardcore gamers and may know a guy who knows a guy.
Oh yeah, i voided the hell out of the warranty. I actually went by a Gamestop today and I think the guy thought I was like a cop or something at first or he'd been in trouble for giving modding advice before, but he later caved and told me sometimes when the system has been moved around alot (like mine has, it's been several places around here and across the country twice) the pins on the Bluetooth Module will bend out of place. He doesn't think I've bricked it either since I didn't get a warning dialog screen. He gave me the name of a site that's good for buying parts but said that most likely it overheated the GPU and I'll just have to get a new system.
