Kansas City +6 1/2 @ Indianapolis--- the Colts are very suspect with their run defense. They will get a very large dose of one of the best running backs in the game in Larry Johnson. Because Herm Edwards has the Chiefs playing better defense and Trent Green is capable of making plays offensively, the Chiefs actually have a fighting chance. But if the Colts can't stop Larry Johnson, expect the Chiefs to control the clock and the line of scrimmage. I think the Chiefs will play keep away. If Payton doesn't have the ball, Payton can't hurt them. Taking the Chiefs and the points.

Dallas +3 @ Seattle--- Dallas is a terrible team. Don't believe me??? Ask Detroit. The Cowboys secondary has gotten burned for 14 touchdowns over the last 4 weeks. For both teams to win, they need ball control. They need to find their respective running games. The team that finds that dominates the game. By the way, Seattle is also a terrible team. It is not just Dallas. Taking Seattle and giving up the points.

New York Jets +8 1/2 @ New England--- the Patriots are the better team. That is fact!!! The Jets will not win this game. But that all being said, these teams play close games. So why would that change now??? I will take the Jets and the points.

New York Giants +7 @ Philadelphia--- The Eagles are on a roll. The Giants are 2-6 in their last 8 games. This Giants team does not deserve to be in the playoffs. Look for the Eagles to give the Giants a BIG dose of Westbrook. That should be good enough to effectively end the Giants season.

Alright, I'm going to steal what TF4F has done and explain why these particular teams will get the spreads.

Kansas City +6 1/2 @ Indianapolis - This will be a very close game in my opinion. Larry Johnson and Peyton Manning have to carry their teams. If Peyton falters, Indianpolis will falter. If Larry fails to run against the worst defense in the league, then it will have to be Damon Huard getting them out of the game with a win. Yes, I say DAMON HUARD! People forget that he did much better than Trent Green is doing right now and Herm Edwards has come out saying if Trent doesn't play well, they will go to Huard and I believe we will see Huard in this game if they are down at the half because of bad play by Trent Green. I take the points in this game but I believe this game will be determined between 3-5 pts.

Dallas +3 @ Seattle - Seattle has a depleted secondary with another quarterback who is having a worse year than his backup and a running back who is finally starting to show up to the games thanks to sitting out and letting his foot heal. I don't believe Seattle has enough to outplay Dallas. Matt Hassselback has had his worse season in years and coming off of losing 3 of the last 4 games this season and Kelly Herndon getting injured for the playoffs, I doubt Mike Homlgren can do much with Seattle. As with Dallas, I think Bill Parcells nailed it on the dot with his quarterback, saying he is overconfident with himself, and with them losing 3 out of the last 4 as well and a secondary that has been shaken up, I believe Dallas and Romo run over the Seattle secondary and make their presence known. I take Dallas in this one easily.

New York Jets +8 1/2 @ New England - For TF4F, neither team is better. Rodney Harrison is out with injury, and the offense is on and off. They are both similar teams, making nobodys into somebodys. This game is mainly a toss up. It's going to be a close competitive game and whichever running game gets going is going to be the victor. Leon Washington has had some good games this year and the running attack of rookie Lawrence Maroney and Corey Dillon gives the Patriots versatility on the ground. I'll take the Jets in this game and the Jets with the points. New England may be 5-0 at home with Tom Brady in the playoffs, but Mangenous will get it done over his mentor. A bad handshake will come afterwards.

New York Giants +7 @ Philadelphia - The Giants don't deserve to be in the playoffs, but neither does any team with a record of .500 and that's not going to happen in the NFC. The Giants are a team this season that has been streaking one way or the other. 6-2 the 1st half, 2-6 the 2nd half. In the 1st half of the season, they had more points in the 4th quarter than in the entire game some games. The 2nd half, they just keep a rattled quarterback out there and not hand Tiki the ball. The one time they do it, they make the playoffs and beat the weak Redskins. But look at Philidelphia now. Because Donovan McNabb gets injured physically and his mom does emotionally, the Eagles finally have a chance to win and they have done it. With Donovan Mcnabb, they were 5-5. With Jeff Garcia, they are 5-1 on a 5 game winning streak. Jeff Garcia is a rejuventaed fired up qb ready to get out there and kick the Giants in the face. They will get Brian Westbrook 100 yds, but Cornell Buckwalter will get 7-10 carries that will be important and Jeff Garcia will have around 20-25 completions with 3-5 carries himself for 1st downs. The Giants cannot contain the running attack of 3 men, and the offense will be minus Jeremy Shockey and will not get out of the 1st round. Philly is on a roll and ready to pounce on the Giants. I'll take Philly to stomp then in the 1st round.
