Is it innapropriate to ask a massage therapist to tickle you a little? I'm going in for my first massage and I told her my feet are very ticklish, and she's like "I'll use firm motions so it's not a problem" how do i tell her it's not a problem and to make it tickle more? Will they do that?

It's inappropriate. Unless you're going to a "happy ending" place,
which is illegal in most places, then you shouldn't be asking for
a tickle from the massage therapist. They're professionals, and
should be treated as such.

I am a Massage Therapist and if a client asked me to tickle him or her before the session I would explain that I am not there to tickle them. If they continued to ask I would end the session. Most of us work way to hard to lose it for a tickle session. There are many who do the happy endings and anything else for extra money and they make us all look bad. I must add I have accidently tickled some of my clients and I am actually surprised that more men are ticklish then women...

Not only am I a Massage Therapist but also a Reflexologist. I love my work and I would not tickle a client. I have had several ask me too tickle them, and they all understood when I said NO. With the reflexology more clients are tickled but once you find the right pressure the tickling stops. I do know therapists that try to tickle their clients on purpose, then act like it was an accident. :feets:

Question:
Unless these therapists you know that do it on purpose are ticklephiles also, why would they want to "accidentally" tickle their clients?

You problably want a massuese at a massage parlor not a massage therapist. Therapist could lose there license or ruin there reputation for unprofessional conduct. Massuese at a parlor work for "tip services" and would be happy to tickle you. These tip services are as mentioned illegal but it does go on. Exercise our own judgement and be safe.

I like that there are those therapists here who have already responded.

Absolutely NOT. No massage therapist with any integrity at all that takes their craft seriously would ever have it even occur to them to tickle their client during a massage. Not only is in completely inappropriate, but the two are mutually exclusive. Massage is about healing, rejuvenation, and relaxation. Tickling would ruin exactly what you were trying to accomplish by massaging.

Obviously, I can't speak for all massage therapists everywhere, because there may be those who'd be willing to indulge a paying client. But as a rule, it's just unthinkable.

It is not appropriate, the massage therapist is a licensed health care professional.

To me, it's equivalent to this question:

Is it appropriate for me to ask my oral hygienist at the dentist's office to tickle the roof of my mouth a little while she's cleaning my teeth? I would like it a lot and find it fun.

(Given that my oral hygienist is actually a very pretty woman in her mid-20's, I really would enjoy it a lot, but it's NOT appropriate for me to ask or for her to do it and pretend it was an accident.)

the lady I see for massages at the place she works at you have to sign a paper that says you will not ask for anything like that.. later i think it i wrong

Dude, dont ask for it, that could get ugly, but tell her that you want a 1 hour foot massage, there are "moves" that every massage therpist I've even gone to do that pretty much tickle like crazy.

There are certain reflexology techniques that involve her fingertips and your toes, pretty damn sweet if u ask me!!!!

Alot of them like to talk and want feedback...you can slightly giggle when she does your feet, and she'll most likely say "Oh does that tickle?" Which is your opening to some tickle dialogue. You can say "Im not normally ticklish, so feel free to do it again" or something.

Then again, it depends if youre actually going for pain relief (stiff back/shoulder) but most likely youre not going for that. Just be careful not to chub up if ya feel me...thats probably a deal-breaker.

Usually female massage therapists will come out and say "No sexual stuff, etc..." and get it out of the way. Which is cool because us ticklephiles dont really want sex, do we? I still dont know if this is a blessing or a curse!!!

BTW, I've never got a pedicure that DIDN'T involve me being tickled!!! Its all about money well spent.

If it's painfully obvious that you're getting off on what's going on in some way (and it will be obvious!) then it counts as sexual stuff, doesn't it?

wait...so I'm not supposed to giggle and raise both hands when my doctor gives me a rectal exam?

Well not exactly getting off...I was simply implying that the tickling that you may receive from the massage can in fact be pleasurable (not exactly orgasmic) to the tickle fetishist and not seen as sexual to the massage therapist, so everybody wins!

If you are looking to get off, then by all means, go to Vegas! I can give you numbers/directions through pm.

Now that I think about it, is it illegal to offer someone $$$ to tickle you as long as both parties remain partially clothed, and no sexual penetration or sodomy occurs? Like a dominatrix for example? I feel like I should know the answe to this question but I do not.

Course it's not illegal - but, if the masseuse is working as a masseuse, it'll doubtless be company policy that she remains professional whilst she is at work. So giving money for anything "extra", regardless of what that is, would be deemed unprofessional, and could cost her her job.

maybe you are better off going to a dominatrix, who will tickle you and who have plenty of experience. It may be more expensive but it will be worth it and you can adjust the session to suit your needs! Even better, they can't get fired as it is their job!

Tickling in massage is simply unethical.

I wouldn't do it either. The massage therapist is there to provide massage therapy, not to tickle. It would be the same as me asking the lady at Victoria Secret to squeeze in a few nipple tugs while measuring the girls. Um, no lol.

I agree that it would be inappropriate to ask a masseuse to tickle your balls or your crotch. But I see nothing inappropriate in asking a masseuse for tickling. She's already touching you, so what you're asking for is really not far off of what she's already doing.

I get massaged fairly frequently, and I always ask for tickling. Granted, most aren't inclined to grant the request, but some are. If they decline the request, I don't make a fuss. I simply don't go back to them.

The key to success here is nonchalance. Don't beg for it, but just mention in a matter-of-fact tone of voice that you enjoy being tickled and sadly don't get much opportunity to experience it.

Just remember. It's a reasonable request, but only if you request it reasonably.

Good luck!

Now that's a great idea for a session! Masseuse/client role play...

I personally think it is also inapproriate to trick a massage therapist into doing something that's sexual to the client, although it will not seem to be sexual to her. That's just wrong! Tickling for a tickling fetishist IS sexual!

I wouldn't ask. To me, it would be like asking her to run her nails along my neck, or nibble my ear. It feels great and it's legal, but it isn't a massage!

Professional dungeon is much better.

To the OP or whoever is looking for a tickling session in place of a massage: do a Google search for "erotic massage" in your area. They'll do it.

I used to visit a message therapist frequently several years ago, and she had a printed description of services provided and then guidelines that would be followed by her and any prospective client. One statement was "Any sexual comment made during a session will result in termination of the session without a refund." Pretty clear, I think. If you haven't had a real therapeutic message by the way, it is definitely NOT a sexual experience, unless you enjoy the pain of various muscle problems and such squeezed out of you.

I understand your position, but I don't really see it as "tricking," which usually brings about a negative result to the tricked "victim."

For example, If I were to sell you a piece of land that didn't really belong to me, you would be out thousands of dollars, because I tricked you, and victimized you.

If I go to any professional, whether a doctor, chiropractor, hair stylist, or massage therapist...the degree to which I'm excited or thrilled by her touch is my own business and nobody else's. My only obligation to her is to maintain a casual and respectful posture. As long as I do that, she's not been victimized in the slightest.

We had this discussion before, but the other way around! 🙂

I personally think if you have the feeling that the person will not do something if he/she knew that it arouses you, then you shouldn't have the person do it!

How would you feel if you found out the doctor who examines your prostate gets a hard-on from that? Now of course you can say 'I don't care if I don't find out', but still - it's wrong and inappropriate.
