Sorry, but we really are just better that you guys at Cricket... and most other sports really... if only we were half the size of America we' require a few more events to be included in the olympics to give some other countries a chance at winning a medal. 😛 Or thats what Roy and HG seem to think.

Well you can rack up another gold medal in our tally. Our Kelly Holmes (who probably comes across as the nearly-girl of British athletics) won a thrilling 800m run! Didn't expect her to win, nor did anyone else or herself! Good on ya, girl! Bring on the 1500m gold too, Kelly!

The acid test for this cricket team of ours will be The Ashes next summer. When we've measured ourselves against a team as all round brilliant as Australia, then we can pat ourselves on the back. They didn't win the last 8 consecutive Ashes series for nowt yanno.
