Sorry about my English...

Is it just me, or do women tend to tickle each other more? Men, on the other hand, are less likely to tickle each other. Could it be a more social issue, in the sense that men have to show off their masculinity? (I'm not necessarily talking about sexual tickling, but also about casual and innocent tickling.)

Men are conditioned to think they're providers and make women think they're providers. Ticklish means vulnerable which gets translated to weak, so there's naturally less interest.

Can’t speak to all cultures, but it seems in the US that a guy tickling another comes off immediately as gay. Women less so. But it’s not just tickling - men touching each other in a “familiar” way can come across the same way.

On a somewhat related note, it seems that some of that guy/guy stigma has relaxed a little over recent years. I used to greet my good male friends with a handshake (and sometimes still do) but mostly it’s a half hug (shake hands, and then bring it in with the other arm) or a full on hug.

I hug good friends that are guys, nothing gay about it. I have some friends who only shake because they are just not comfortable hugging another guy, lots of women though just tend to be more likely to huf each other and also tickle one another. But couples regardless of sex/gender tickle each other the most.
