Warner's finally got their head out of their asses, probably due to the reaction to Spiderman 2, since this all happened since the movie was released. McG has been fired, and that Bastard of a script by J.J. Abrams is finally seeing the treatment it deserves. Tossed into the garbage. Bryan Singer is Directing, and Michael Dougherty & Dan Harris, who scribed X-Men 2, are writing a new script. See the aint it cool article here
