What a game, though, eh?
This proves my theory that the NFC isn't as bad as people think. This is another example of NFC teams playing each other into the damn ground. I honestly think that, despite the pundits and the so-called "experts", the NFC is still the superior conference. These teams are playing each other like there's no tomorrow.
While the AFC has maybe five teams that are dominant, we have at least twelve in the NFC that are so evenly matched that it has forced most of them into a probable 8-8 record.
Watch out AFC....the Super Bowl will be the Ultimate trap game!
As much as I lament the loss of my beloved Vikings, I still believe that they'll make the playoffs at 9-7 and be the first team since the '79 Rams to make the Super Bowl with that record. Awful tough to beat a team three times in one year! This may actually be better for the Vikes.
As a life-long Vikings fan, I must admit to the awesome ability and perserverance of Brett Favre. This guy is our generation's answer to Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas and/or John Elway.
Even if he does throw stupid interceptions that will blow the Pack out of the second round of the playoffs. 😀

WOW, what a game though! So evenly matched those two teams are! It was a great match-up for the traditional Christmas Even football game. Very well played by both teams, very exciting, and unpredictable till the very last seconds of the game.
The playoffs are looking mighty damn interesting!
