Words That Inspire

Lots has been spoken about what we all like the most about tickling, the laughter, the begging, the squirming, etc. But does anyone have a particular word of phrase that they find, say when reading a story, even if it has nothing to do with tickling, that they find really 'hits the spot', so to speak.

The reason I ask is because I used to read a lot as a kid, even before I knew what tickling was all about, and certain phrases used to stop me in my tracks, and I'd think WOW!! , even though I wasn't sure why, and even in a totally non-tickling context.

I'm sure some of you 'Awesome Authors' out there have your favourites, why don't you share them with us!!! 😀

An example for me was the term 'maniacal laughter'. Even when used in a non-tickling form and context it used to get my mind racing with possibilities lol 😉

I hope this relates to the topic:

I remember when I was younger, in one of my earlier grade school classes we read a book that I believe was called "5th Grade Rats". In it, the narrator (a fith grader) slips on his roof and is holding on to the ledge. His sister comes out, grabs his legs and tickles his feet. Later on, he gets revenge when she is on the floor reading with just has socks on.

While bieng tickled,the narrator tells us "We, the Norms(I believe was the family name) are a very ticklish family"

And when he sees his sister later on, there is the sentence that I believe was "She was only wearing socks." -This one peaked my interest

I said that to a girlfriend once. 😀
