I don't need to be officially recognized, Lord knows people have been officially acknowledged by Guinness for far less; and far MORE stupid accomplishments...
So I'd like everyone to know that I am now the World Record holder for most zombies killed in a single level on Zombies Ate My Neighbors!
I've searched all over the internet, checked out all the youtube walkthroughs and even checked Guinness itself just to be sure and I find NO ONE who even comes close to my feat! At the end, the game tallies the quantity of each monster you've slain through the 55+ levels and the best of the best seem to reach around the 300 mark for zombie kills. My friend and I were in that ballpark, if I do recall, playing 2 Players as kids.
Well, in a single level ("Nightmare on Terror Street", to be exact) I killed at least 1,032 zombies! If you stay in the middle of the street, they come at you 6 at a time and I counted 172 rounds of slaughtering these hordes! And that's my bare minimum calculation, as more would rise the instant I killed some and it was impossible to keep an exact count. Also killed handfuls of werewolves in this long process. But I'll take the record at 1,032 zombies killed in a single level!!
