I was just kicking back with a cold beer and catching up on some poker action on tv and chatting with a member on here when I realized NEST could use some competitive action. Who'd be up for talking about organizing a WORLD SERIES OF TICKLING to be run annually at NEST? I can see it now...Aimee heads-up vs. The TickleBrat!

Yes, exactly. Maybe even a few different stations with "players" at each and they take turns trying to withstand the longest. Winners move on to "final tables" and such.

I believe one concern at NEST 2008 was this: You could arrange to have only f/m, m/f, and f/f tickling in the first round but, given that you didn't know who was going to win and advance, there might be m/m in subsequent rounds with participants who didn't care to do that.

Looks like at least two people wouldnt mind seeing or being involved with the m/m tickling. HOWEVER, since I would not particularly enjoy being head to head with another dude, we could allow runner-up females to move on, or even split the males up into their own tables when that happens.

Say tables/stations 1, 2, and 3 all have male winners, with 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 having female winners. 1, 2, and 3 could become main tables where the other participants are funneled. Worst comes to worst, should all males win, there could be a panel of winners. I mean I can't see no females being able to move on...there should be more than enough.

I think the m/m problem would less likely occur in practice than it does in theory.

Awards for "most valuable 'lee and most valuable 'ler" would be nice.Of course it will just not be the same without scalpers, and overpriced hot dogs, peanuts and beer. And please don't forget the 7th inning stretch for all the upper body fans.

LMFAO. FIRST OF ALL...just because I'm a NEST Noob doesn't mean I can't pull this off! Secondly, I think I'll be contacting you for creative ideas should this thing take off next Spring.

Yes, this idea came up for NEST2008, as Dave said, and the issue was, and remains,
that in order to have a fair event, the entire way through, there is no "pass through"
of contestants, and people have to be ok with participating and or watching same-sex
tickling. Honestly, though, if you're going for a title of the "best" then I feel you should
be comfortable with whatever comes at you 😉

We may take it up again for NEST2010.
