Since I have not seen any threads about the World Series yet.. I thought I would start one.
What are the opinions on this World Series so far?
I've heard.. things said.. such as.
"One of the best World Series ever".
Last night, was definitely a classic game.
How the Dodgers kept going ahead, the Astros kept tying it up, back and forth.
Then, as those of us who watched it are aware.
Finally, shortly after 1 30 am Eastern Time.
The Astros won the game 13-12 in the bottom of the 10th inning.
I think many people, from the teams themselves, to the fans who are watching, were/are happy that tonight was an off night.
The players, and especially, the pitchers, needed a rest.
Toward the end of the game last night, the broadcasters kept saying.
Both bullpens are empty.
I had thought that maybe, if the game went much longer than it did, for the teams to maybe put in starting pitchers, for long relief.
I think everyone was happy that did not happen.
What happens now? Does Houston win and close it Tuesday night, or does LA win, and it go to Wednesday and Game Seven?
I know that LA fans want the Dodgers to win tomorrow night, to give them a chance at a Game Seven.
Astros fans want it over.
I'm not rooting for either team. I just think it's been a very interesting World Series,
I say, let LA win tomorrow night, and let it be decided in Game Seven.
I think that tomorrow night should/will be very interesting.
