Researchers have found a gene responsible for drunkeness in worms after giving thousands an abundance of alcohol. This experiment that was conducted in the University of California in San Francisco may be the answer to fighting alcoholism. The worms that were given alcohol, were too drunk to drive, if they had been humans. This made them move more awkardly and slower than sober worms. The sober worms had the same mutated genes that appear to make them immune to alcohol's intoxicating effects. Researchers say that with this evidence, they can conclude that all animals, including humans have the same gene in them that is responsible for drunkeness.
I want mutated henes that make me immune to alcohol!
