Im piggy backin off a thread here, how about worst horror movie you ever seen, heres my List

Stuff Stephanie in the incinerator-This movie was made by troma so i figured, ooo a gore movie....no murder, it was the worst wasting of my time, its more drama\mystery than horror

Uncle Sam-a modern movie that is just god aweful, some guy dies in the origional iraq war due to friendly fire, so he comes back to kill people who are bad\unpatriotic\etc etc

alien vs predator-nuff said

Bloody Murder I and II-a cheap remake of the Jason genre, except the murderer wears an older style of hockey mask and wears flannel, and his name is trevor Moorhouse.

Jason X-why......oh why?

Joe Bob Briggs, call your office!

Ho-lee Hannah, what a task! There have to be more rotten horror movies than any other genre of film. How to choose...how to choose....
Well, I think I'll skip the easy targets, those made on a budget that wouldn't pay for a 7-11 burrito, and pick the most pretentious, overblown and clueless big budget abomination I can think of. The winnah...and still champeen..."Bram Stoker's Dracula," directed by Francis Coppola and starring Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder. More like a two-hour music video than an actual film, this was an unconscionable waste of talent like Oldman, Ryder and Anthony Hopkins.
Runner-up: "Van Helsing"

"Ghost ship" sucked in my opinion!

The only thing that was scary in that moovie was when they discovered the dead body in the room. And that didn't even make me jump!

When i was a kid, I saw a god-awful movie called Make Them Die Slowly. It was about people being murdered by cannibals in South America. No real plot, but more like an excuse to dish out some gruesome effects. (example, woman gets hung up by huge metal hooks through her breasts). In some countries the flick is called Cannibal Ferox.

That new Werewolf film by Wes Craven was embarrasingly bad. Wes...what were you thinking man?!

Russ Meyer's "Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls"?

not really horror per say, but a very campy, drive-in theater B-movie type, weird, kinda artsy/fartsy in it's time. towards the ending when the tranny go's on a killing spree would be the horror part mostly.

Lost Boys..and only cause a former member of this site wore me the f*ck out with pics and quotes from the movie. So I guess its just a hatred.

HAHA he's gone? I remmeber his page long kiefer sutherland quotes for a sig, and i thought my sig was big

Still it was a good movie, one of the rare good ones of feldman\haim.

The most hated and biggest flop in horror history was Exorcist 2 : The Heretic. The screams and hysteria that the original Exorcist caused were reversed into the sequel literally being laughed out of theaters after a paultry box office earning.

Was this movie overly bad or was it just me?
Was this just a bad impersonation of Ringu?
How were the main character and the doctor enemies?
Why is it they have a long past?
What even WAS their past?
How did the girl get the lipstick tube swallowed and in her chest if she was strapped down the whole time?
How did she write the killers address on it (the slip of paper in the lipstick tube) when no one was suppose to know where he was?
How did the morticians NOT find it?
If the girl had pure white hair as a child, why didn’t she as an adult?
What was the POINT of white hair?
Did she wear all white to match her hair as well?
Was she albino?
What did being a hemophiliac have to do with ANYTHING?
Just to show she was would certainly die?
Didn’t everyone die anyway since they couldn’t get away?
Why do they see the little girl over and over again after they see the site even though she died as an adult?
What the hell was up with that ball?
Why did she haunt the internet killing people?
Why even care, she’s dead…it’s a little late?!
Why the HELL was the guy in front of the tracks when he could CLEARLY hear a train coming?
Why do people die in 48 hours?
What does that increment of time have to do with ANYTHING in the movie?
Why couldn’t the FBI just shut the website down?
Why was this movie so RETARDED?!

Im surprised u didnt list trick or treat with gene simmons and ozzy

I think the most entertainingly bad was Basket Case 2.The most boring was The Ninth Gate,it seemed like the movie never even started as the end credits were coming up.Star Crash is my pick for worst SF movie.
Four movies I absolutely loved, but everyone else hated are:Judge Dredd,Exorcist 3,Starship Troopers, and Alien vs Predator.

The Stabilizer is the greatest must-see bad movie of all time.

Killer Clowns from Outer Space. The most painful hour and forty five minutes of my life.

Starship troopers and dredd are well liked by those who read the comics and books. Also, alot of ST fans are those who were also fans of total recall and such, being the same director and the gore factor.....actually ive never really heard any bad comments on those movies

I can't make up my mind. I don't watch very many horror movies, and most of the ones I've seen are the classics, which were very good. These common day ones though seem cheap and stupid though, like they just pulled it out of their ass.

The plot is there, but the nuance and feeling is not. CG is partly, if not completely to blame in alot of cases. What happened to good old props and costumes?

CGI is easier, u dont need to pay the actor...lol

Ofcourse it comes to taste, what one person finds as good, the other finds as terrible. I mean other than 28 days later and van helsing, i havent seen a "Terrible" modern horror film. But it is all about gore now and how much bone and puss you can show. Chief example is how they remade the texas chainsaw massacre movie like 3 times(one was actually texas chainsaw massacre: the next generation) and it was the same as the first movie, just minor diffs.

Freddy vs jason, jason x. end of story

fear.com was pretty lame, The internet is gunna get ya muhahahaha. It was like some kind of bsdm film that ended up looking like a tool video. 😀

What did you see wrong with freddy vs jason? It was a new concept and i thought it did work well, other than Jason bein what seemed to be a goody two shoes.

If anyone has watched MST3K, they prob saw "Manos: the hands of fate" about a family who goes to a lodge in like new mexico and its ran by a cult or something. Possible worst movie ever, was shot on camera that took 60 second films with no sound and added the sound later.

The Abbott/coslello Spoofs Were The Nails In Unversal's 1930's-1940's Monsters' Coffins. Blood Feast, Wizard Of Gore Etc Made For The Drive In ( Can't See The Picture Through The Fogged Up Window Any Way) Trade, Were Some Of The Low Budget Flicks Alluded To In Other Posts. The Jason & Freddy Sagas That Go On And On So As To Require Exponents Versus Roman Numerals, Also Don't Underestimate The Taste Of The American Public. Some Of The Japanses Monster Flicks With The Oh My! I Think Those Are Model Planes, Trains, And Cars Are Good For Laughs And Not Scares.

True, but they did have their moments!

LON CHANEY: You don't understand. Tonight, when the moon comes out, I'll turn into a wolf!
LOU COSTELLO: Yeah...you and about a million other guys.

BORIS KARLOFF (After trying several times to make a hypnotized Lou kill himself): You're going to commit suicide if it's the last thing you ever do!

Good Point. But If I Want A Pair Of Boobs In My Horror Movie I'll Choose Elvira! Lol!

You have a good point,I'm a hudge Dredd fan. I was never into the comic versions of Alien vs Predator since they forgot about the acid blood and made the Predators superior in a hand to hand fight, without the use of energy weapons. In Alien 3 the alien was bashing down 6 inch steel doors with it's head and survived tons of molten lead poured on it.Since a predator would be killed trying any of these, they would only be superior in a long distance battle(like in the movie version).Like the humans they kept overestimating their technology over the Aliens. The ending of Alien vs Predator made it evident to me,why no one from the Alien Trilogy era ever encountered a living Predator. The movies I mentioned before only got bad reviews from the mainstream critics who are freakin idiots anyway...your right, they do'nt count.

I think the coolest monsters in a bad horror movie are from The Deadly Spawn and It Conquered the World.

I loved Freddy vs Jason since I got to see some of the "old school" boys nail the politically correct generation.

I agree with Drac,All the CGI in movies these days sucks. It feels like I'm watching PlayStation monsters.
