Would this be a good way to try toe ties for the first time?

I have some ideas on how to add toe ties to my stocks but I don't want to go drilling holes in them until I am positive of what I want to do.

I bought some 1/8" bungee cord and spring cord locks. I am thinking of starting with the bungee cord at the back of the stocks, running it around the front side, wrapping it one time around each toe and then back to the other end of the cord and securing with the cord locks. This prevents having to drill holes or do anything permanent.

I am going to try this tonight. I think I will put toe socks on her feet to keep the bungee cord from irritating the skin between her toes.

Since the cord locks are easily adjustable with the squeeze of the button, I can get just the right amount of tension.

If I correctly understand what you mean, I don't think this is the solution you're looking for. 1/8" bungie cord generally is intended to have an easy stretch to absorb shock, can stretch 2-3 times it's normal length, and tends to have a relatively low breaking load (~60-120 lbs). I'm not sure it will give the immobilization you're looking for. In addition, wrapping it once around each toe (again, if I'm understanding you correctly) would result in constriction of some or all of the toes as the cord is pulled against. That would be a problem regardless of whether you were using something stretchable like bungie cord or something more static like a tightly woven nylon string. You'd want to tie something into a knot that would not constrict under load.

I guess I was thinking of the ones that Tickle Abuse used. It appeared that the ler would slip their finger under the tie and stretch it forward and loop it around the toe. That appeared to be some sort of stretchy material whether it be bungee cord or elastic strap. I get what you mean though. The ones they used simply went around the forward facing surface of the base of the toe, not wrapped completely around the toe.

Good point about the bungee cord constricting under load. I was also thinking I could try to simply lay the bungee cord across the base of the toes without looping it around them.

If the breaking load is that low, it might not work at all. I have discovered ticklish feet are incredibly strong. I have strong hands and there have been times I have been unable to hold the lees big toe with my thumb while locking my hand on top of the stocks for leverage. LOL

Fortunately my tickle victim is very patient and loves this so I can do some experimenting tonight.

Ha, Yes, little feet can be very strong! The breaking load can vary depending upon brand and how it's made and all that, but the real concern with breaking load is that it's standard practice to not get close to it–The safe working load is usually much less. Now of course, you're not using it for life-critical applications here or anything, but one thing to consider is that if muscles and tendons are under a lot of tension, and that is released all at once (such as if something like a rope snaps that was holding a body part in place under tension) it can cause injury because of the reflexive rebound. Even so, I suspect breaking load might be less of your concern with the cord, and more how flexible it is. I'm not sure what ties were used in the TA vids you referenced, but many rope and string has some degree of flex to it, so it might have looked something like bungie cord in that way, but bungie cord is designed such that it is extremely stretchy. A 6" length of it could fairly easily be stretch to 12" or even 18" depending upon the particular cord's specifications and intended use.

I could also just totally be wrong about it, as details can always get lost in communication. Whatever the case, I hope you get the setup you're looking for!
