I'd like to enquire to anyone on here

If hypothetically someone joined here to make a post searching for a volunteer,

If someone were being stalked because MAYBE they were sensitive a bit in certain areas of their body and they wanted to get the stalker to leave them alone. Would anyone here volunteer to take their place?

Just hypothetically.

You'd better be using the term "stalked" in a different way than I imagine most people here would understand it. Actual stalkers are dangerous.
Absolutely they are.
This is a hypothetical question from a fiction writer.

Nope

No, I wouldn’t. I’ve been stalked. Online and in person. No thanks. I’d get very protective, if anything.

Good morning (small hours here), Littlechambers. One analysis, surface level.

Stalkers range from the pathetic to the sociopathic. My grasp of your description is that this guy wants to engage immediately on a physical basis. If he is willing to agree to terms, I think it likely that he would not honor those terms. This is pathological.

I can imagine only two types of persons who would accept this proposal. One would be someone severely addicted to risk and certain that he/she would be able to sample the potential harm without suffering the full consequences.

The other would be a protector/avenger type bent on dissuading the stalker from his behavior and perhaps avenging his previous victims.

We are discussing a fictional premise. Nothing that an editor will buy is beyond the pale. But that editor will have questions. The obvious first one -- why doesn't the protagonist call the police? I'm sure your writer friend has that one covered, but it's only the first of dozens, if not hundreds.

I wish the writer the best of success, and the two of you a lasting friendship.
