So far these matches are going down, most confirmed, others will be soon.

Batista vs Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title
JBL vs Cena for the WWE World Championship
HBK vs Angle
Randy Orton vs Taker

We also know Piper will return with Pipers Pit and his guest will be none other then Stone Cold Steve Austin.

They still have not officially made matches for Show, Kane, Shelton, Benoit, Jerico, Booker, Hassan and others. I could easily see a fatal four way for the IC belt with Jerico, Shelton, Benoit and either Hassan or Snitzky.

EDIT: Though I'm guessing just because its Stone Cold Piper is going to get his assed kicked and look like a weakling. They should at least have him fight back and throw a few punches and not just be the victim of a Stunner. He's Hot Rod for a reason dammit, he doesn't take that kind of shit. He's threatened the boss and got in his face, he'll do it to Austin if something goes wrong.

Although I'm sure it will be his fault. He'll probably be asking for it.

Have you not been watching RAW!?!?😀 Piper will be inducted into the Hall of Fame the day before WM and also it was announced on Raw tonight the "PIT" will be back with Austin as the guest at WM21.

I don't have cable anymore, so no I haven't been watching RAW. But yes I did hear about him being inducted on Smackdown. I just didn't know they'd go this far to promote it and whether or not its just a one time thing for WM.

Tag Team Championship Please?

I wonder if theyll be a tag team championship match? It seems like tag team wrestling is a lost art nowadays. Gone are the days of the Road Warriors vs. the Fabulous Freebirds. I know there wasnt a tag team championship match at the Royal Rumble. I think its sad because wrestlers today have too big of an ego to be in a team, they have to have the spotlight all to themselves.

I agree. I could sit and watch tag matches all night. In fact, the majority of matches i watch from my wrestling tape collection is mostly tag matches. Warriors, Hart Foundation, Midnight Express, etc.

Don't forget Jericho's six-man ladder match. Wonder who'll be involved in that one? They'll probably use it as a way to get guys they don't have a program for on the card -- like Benoit, Benjamin, Edge, and Hassan.

I was just going to mention that one. I'm anxious to see who all they include. I miss the old days (old to me at least) of Edge and Christian meeting the Hardy Boys in TLC matches. Those were really intense and very entertaining. I hope this one measures up to those.

Don't forget Randy and the Undertaker too. Though it hasn't been announced yet, rumors have been flying. And, Randy's little thing with the magazine last night after chatting with Billy suggests that the rumors may be true.

Since most of the tag action seems to be on Smackdown these days, I'm expecting to hear more as we see that in coming weeks. I'm also wondering about another cruiser weight matchup. It's a shame that RVD is out. They could have used his energy to help build things up.

Overall, I think it's building up to be an excellent show.

Ann, I did already mention Taker-Orton.. Look for Randy to make a heel turn in that match. He doesn't want too but Vince is forcing him too.

Just my thoughts..

I agree with an earlier thought that both faces will not win at WM. My guess is Cena will definitely win because JBL is long overdue for a loss and played the 'hate me because I don't lose' card to death, and HHH will keep the belt vs Batista - maybe even with Orton interference. This would be a surefire way to gain heat for Orton after being a face and set up an awesome return match on monday night RAW or even a Batista vs Orton going back to the original Orton turn when Batista dropped him before Evolution ganged up on him. Ever since the WM (I think it was 2000) when HHH won in a 4 way and everyone thought for sure Rock would win - Vince has had a way of throwing a wrench and surprise at WM. It's no longer a 'good guy always wins' ppv. Just my thoughts.

The obvious cruiserweight title match is London vs. Chavo, and they do seem to be building to that in a half-assed way. Maybe if London and Chavo are lucky, they'll get five whole minutes to have it in.

induction ceremony

I have yet to see last years induction ceremony.I take it was a sedate ceremony with no put-on confrontations.
But,this year we have the makings of a Wrestlemania 1 reunion of
Piper,Orndorff,Orton,and Hogan.Can T and Superfly be waiting in the wings to offset a potential insurrection!!!??? Or will it be strictly a friendly,sedate cermony?🙄

Micheals vs. Angle

I betcha although Shawn is 41 and Kurt 39 that Angle vs Micheals steals the show for the evening. Their styles blend so well with each other to make a classic match and they both give it there all when they wrestle. Oh and I love Shawns new religous approach to life. He doesnt act holier than thou at all he just gives a lot of respect to his family,the WWE fans,his opponents,even Canadians who hate his guts! What a difference from say a 1998 Heartbreak Kid. I bet hes a great father and husband too. Thumbs up to Shawn Michaels!

He might as well hang em' up because the way the heartbreak kid was in 98 and earlier was his character. It was who he really was, he didn't play a part and that is what was so great about him, and why he's my favorite wrestler of all time. I miss the arrogance, the good looks (he used to take much better care of himself, obviously) ...and his in ring skills have declined massively. This is expected, because of the injuries and such..but still...I miss the real HBK!! The one that picked his nose with the canadian flag and superkicked bret hart while he was in a wheelchair!! 😀


im still excited to see him wrestle angle though, and it probably will be the best match of the night, as shawn always steals the show at mania' ....he is the showstopper!

Krokus, to me it looks like Shawn still has it! What specifically doesnt he do anymore that he once did? As for his attitude, hes a married man with children and he found religion so he wants to "spread the message" as one would say. Im not saying your wrong just what in particular doesnt he do so I can keep a lookout for it. I bet Micheals/Angle steals the spotlight at Wrestlemania and I love Shawns new attitude cuz his old attitude nearly got him killed in a nightclub! Remember that? Yeessh!🙄

you make a good point, I just liked him better then...because he was like me, heheeh 😉 but, I respect him for his convictions. I meant mostly attitude-wise...but to me he just seems like he is a bit slower in the ring, and not quite as acrobatic. Im probably just weird about it. 😉

No youre certainly not weird about it, you cant expect a 41 year old to do the moves of a 33 year old like you said. As for his attitude...yes youre right about him picking his nose with the canadian flag, that was priceless but the thing was he supposedly was like that after the show was over as well and thats bad. Even JBL the most hated heel possibly in modern times is a very nice guy if you meet him in person (my friend met him in Manhattan just walking on the street). Shawns attitude certainly wouldnt suit a man with a wife and kids if he was the 98 Shawn but the religious Shawn is supposedly a great father and husband and ill take that over the moonsault bodypress he cant do anymore!😀

Wrestlemania will be great, but did anyone hear about Edge cheating with Lita (Matt Hardy's girlfriend)...and now Matt breaking up with her, when he found out she cheated with Edge (who is married by the way)...it almost sounds like just some rumor/soap opera but they have had Matt Hardy on his own site hinting towards something like this and now I have seen several places where it seems to be confirmed that she cheated with Edge...I wonder if it's true, and if it is I think that sucks cause I like Edge.
