Anyone watching the Hall of Fame ceremony tonight and Wrestlemania 23 tomorrow? I'm looking forward to seeing Jim Ross inducted tonight and watching the show tomorrow. I can't wait to seet the "Battle of the Billionaires" and the two main events.

I do think its a joke they got people like shatner and boggs doing some of the introductions

As for the billionaires match, i will simply say this, whats the date tomorrow?

I was thinking the same thing about Shatner and Boggs too. I could care less about most of the presenters though. Austin and Bobby Heenan were entertaining last year, so I expect the same from them this year. And there's no way the Battle of the Billionaires is a joke. I believe them 100%.

Must I sit through the ECW old timers vs. New Breed? And i'm lost cuz I haven't been following but why isn't McMahon's son in law on the card? Usually he pencils himself in the main event each year! :wowzer:

I'm not too interested in that match either, but it's Wrestlemania, so you never know. And Triple H isn't wrestling because he's injured. He got injured in December or January and they don't expect him back until around SummerSlam.

Anybody watch the show? It was the greatest Wrestlemania EVER!!! Nah, I'm just kidding. It was an ok show. The hype exceeded the actual event. However, there were a few things I enjoyed. I was happy to see the Undertaker win the title and keep his Wrestlemania winning streak alive. The Money in the Bank was a pretty good match, although I think last years was better. Mr. Kennedy won and I was pretty happy with that. I liked the Battle of the Billionaires match. I knew Vince would get his head shaved but I was hoping out hope that The Donald would be the one. And the main event, Cena vs Michaels, was the best match of the night IMO. Really good match and I was glad Cena won.

I hosted a WM party at my house last night, and we all agreed that it was the most boring WWE pay per view we've ever seen. Pre-match video packages, promos for upcoming events, and ring entrance times were WAY too long, and acted as a real buzzkill for the event.

As for the matches:

Money in the Bank....that was a WAY nasty injury Edge took. I think it's time to keep anyone named "Hardy" away from ladder bumps.

Kane/Khali- Seriously...was anyone expecting anything good from this match?

Benoit/MVP- Not bad...but Benoit deserves better.

The Lumberjill Match- Typical WWE women's match. Nothing tremendous...expect for, as Lawler would say, the puppies.

Batista/Undertaker- I expected much bigger reactions from the crowd, but they seemed pretty bored. The boos for Dave kinda surprised me. Undertaker takes the title, and oh yeah...the rematch will be at the next PPV. So Taker gets to keep his winning streak alive, and Dave could win the belt back next month.

New Breed/ECW Originals- Nobody outside of the original ECW fans cared about this match. Sabu and Van Dam- Talented. Dreamer and Sandman- Not worth the salary of a 7-11 manager.

Battle of the Billionaires- Hmmmm...Stone Cold is the guest ref, so will he get physically involved? DUUUUUUUUH!!!! I saw the ending coming a mile away. I believe people were more interested in seeing Austin stun McMahon, than Umaga and Lashley beating each other silly. As for the shaving, the only thing funnier than McMahon's acting during his buzzcut, was seeing Trump hit him with a clothesline and start wailing on him.

Cena/Michaels- Good match, though the crowd didn't start getting into it till later on. Good wrestling by both guys, and it was good to see Cena going over with the submission at the end.

Overall, not enough good matchups, and too much filler.

I was expecting this match to be "match of the year." 😀 And what the hell was Elijah Burke wearing when he came out? That was the gayest thing I have ever seen a wrestler wear to the ring.

Now, was it really worse than the stuff Rico wore back when he was doing the gay gimmick for the WWE?

Hell yes. It looked like some shit that Damon Wayans would have wore when he played that gay character on "In Living Color."

Ah, like one of Rick Flair's sparkly robes with the feather trim then.

This is the closest picture that I could find. The shirt on the left.

Oh, heck. When Rico was doing his "flaming" gimmick he made that look like something you'd see at a PTA meeting.
