Did anyone see it?

What'd ya think?

My first wrestling pay-per-view in over 4 years, thought it was awesome!

it was pretty good. I was shocked Rock won . It makes no sense for a guy who hadn't wrestled in 8 yrs to comeback and beat the WWE'S no.1 guy. I don't undertsand it from a business perspective. Without a doubt Takervs. HHH was match of night. Liked how Taker even helped HHH to back.

I got to view it too. I haven't order a wrestling PPV since WCW existed, but have been keeping regular tabs on wrestling. It is my guilty pleasure.

I expected The Rock to beat John Cena. It was in Miami which is Rock's hometown, and this makes it to where The Rock has beaten Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, and now John Cena at Wrestlemania.

CM Punk/Chris Jericho was a technical wrestling masterpiece. They had ring psychology, and it showed what professional wrestling is all about. This match wasn't for sports entertainment, but for those old school wrestling fans. CM Punk coming out on top doesn't surprise me, but Jericho has until Summer Slam left on his contract so I don't think this is over.

Triple H/Undertaker was the show stealer. They put everything on the line in that match, and it was great. I don't know if this is truly the end of both their careers, but what a hell of a way to go out. Undertaker will retire with an undefeated Wrestlemania streak, and 20-0 sounds good to me.

The other matches were sub-par. I am disappointed in the Daniel Bryan/Sheamus World Heavyweight Championship match. Those two deserved to have a match that lasted longer then 18 seconds. Word is that they wanted to break a record for shortest title match. If that were the case then they should've done it with Big Show/Rhodes for the secondary title. I want my World Championship matches to be given the proper time.

Ditto.

I expected Cena to beat Rock as well, especially since Cena said if Rock beats him, he "loses everything!" Wonder if John is ready for another heel turn that they hinted at with his Kane feud.

Triple H/Taker was absolutley incredible, as was Punk/Jericho.

Could've done without the hip-hop stuff before the main event, complete waste of time, why not another match? Was hoping the WWE would've gotten Living Colour to perform "Cult of Personality" for Punks entrance.

Also enjoyed Mick Foley/Santino and "The Deadliest Catch" captain's bit as well.

The Team Johnny/Teddy's match was, again, a waste of time. Would've prefered a couple more singles matches, too many guys on each team.

All in all though, very good pay-per-view and can't wait for Raw tonight.

best wwe ppv inawhile.

I thought that was a great ppv. I Really thought broc lesnar was going to interfere in the final match. I am really glad cena lost. Now maybe cena can now officially turn heel. "the fans turned their backs on me bla bla bla, ill let the cenation down bla bla bla".

Best match of the night goes to taker and hhh hell in the cell.

I thought Lesnar would interfere in Cena/Rock as well.

Maybe Cena does finally turn heel eventhough Vince in the past has always said he was too big for WWE as babyface. Thats the only reason I could see letting him lose to Rock . They need some heel heat other than Vicki Guerrero . lol.

From what I understand....WWE Resigned Matt Bloom aka A-Train to be Cena's next opponent. A-Train is returning as Lord Tensai. Don't think this will be the same type of guy as he was before because Bloom improved drastically in Japan as Giant Bernard.

Lesnar's contract is a year and I believe I read where the clause is he will wrestle once a month. I can Lesnar being Taker's opponent on the next Mania or something.

I loved it, especially considering Mania 27 was probably the WORST WrestleMania of all time! REALLY wanted Rock and 'Taker to win; and was pleasantly surprised that Kane beat the boring, golden... err, silver child.

And I'm sorry (not really), but I must disagree about the WHC Match. I LOVE a good WrestleMania squash and I remember thinking to myself that we needed one this year. Big Show and Cody Rhodes would've been nice, but also somewhat expected. WWE has forgotten over the years that WrestleMania is supposed to be a night of BIG surprises as well and who would've thought one of the two World Championship matches would be over so quickly??
I was actually annoyed at first that one of the World title matches was the curtain jerker AGAIN, hell WrestleMania X had the same World title defended twice and yet still not in the opener, but the quick finish alleviated my frustration. Plus, a quick first match really gets the crowd extra excited and that much more into the show. And there are many ways they could go with this, storyline wise, as far as Daniel Bryan having more animosity toward AJ for "distracting" him and costing him the match.

Anyway, this was the first WrestleMania I've ordered in many, many years (Thank God I got to see Bret Hart return for free on the Armed Forces Network) and now I'm that much more excited to be ATTENDING Summer Slam!!

P.S. 400th post!! "In time, you will call me: Maaaaaster....."

Believe it or not, I just watched it. I thought it was okay-

HHH vs. Taker- Good match, but more of the same from last year.
Punk vs. Jericho- Great match!
5 on 5 Brand Match- Meh. This was a mess. It should have been an elimination match.
Brodus Clay and the dancing bridge club- Stupid.
Shaemus vs. Bryan- 18 seconds? Stupid.

I was a bit disappointed there was no Money in the Bank match.
