Wrestlemania thoughts?

Nothing has been set in stone yet, but so far I have very little interest in the 'potential' WM events. I really don't care for yet another Orton/HHH match, HBK vs Taker has good potential and to me, would be the best match on the card. Cena vs Edge yet again? Hardy vs Hardy? I'll pass.

As said, nothing has been announced "officially" yet, but so far I would have little interest in Wrestlemania.

What are your opinions?

At this point, HBK/Taker is the only match I'm looking forward to. That one has the potential to be the best on the card and probably will be. I really don't care at all about the others so far.

Edge vs Cena world heavyweight title

Jack Swagger vs Christian Ecw title

Taker vs HBK

Chris Jericho vs Flair or Hogan or Austin (they havent decided on a legend yet)

MITB: Benjamin, MVP, Morrison, Evan Bourne, Kofi, Mysterio, Kozlov

Hardy vs Hardy

some divas match

overall im looking forward to it, hhh/orton and cena/edge are better than the original hhh/edge and cena/orton, taker and hbk will be a good one and the mitb is always good

I don't mind seeing HHH/Orton and Edge/Cena again because they're under different circumstances. Orton is the absolute best in the WWE right now and his current storyline with the McMahon's adds something different to their program.

Edge's improbable win at NWO was shocking. Cena wants a rematch and I'm sure Edge will do whatever he can to delay the inevitable.

Both titles are on Smackdown and no one knows how that situation will play out.

As for the other matches, Taker-HBK speaks for itself.

I think the Hardy's will have a very-good match. I just hope that their storyline is entertaining.

MITB is always good. I hope Evan Bourne can make it back for that one. Melina v. BP looks likely.

Christian/Swagger will likely be a solid match at-the-very-least.

Jericho's involvement, whatever that may be, will be entertaining.

It's still a month-and-a-half away. Great storylines could increase interest in the matches for those of you who aren't feelin' it at the moment.

highly doubt it will be a ladder match seeing as they already have the mitb, they arent going to do 2 ladder matches.

If Kennedy is healthy, I see him in the MITB instead of Kozlov.

That's the problem with Kozlov. The guy has potential but he was pushed too fast and too early.
BTW, big men are rarely booked in ladder matches.

im aware as ive watched the product for 17 years now, but that isnt completly correct seeing as kane has previously been in the mitb. I just feel that the way they have shoved him down our throats that they have to do something with him and mitb seems the most likely

I Think they handled the end of the michaels\kozlov match very very poorly. Dominance till a punch off the turnbuckle and then elbow\superkick? Almost looked like Michaels cant even work a match anymore. Also, any place they wanted to take Kozlov died with that loss

Hahaha. I loved the look on Edge's face when Big Show was announced as his wrestlemania

and I'm really looking forward to the Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker match. I definately plan on ordering Wrestlemania

Do we really think Edge / Big Show is happening? I'm all for it, but I don't see Big Show getting a Main Event push just yet.

I don't think Edge/Show will happen either. Triple-threat seems likely.

Kane and Mark Henry in the MITB? Bad choices unless they do something amazing at WM. Mysterio and Marella would've been better choices.

At least I got to see Glamarella tonight.

Kane in the MITB makes me think he might win it this year. He's not long for the business, and a last title run is probably in his future.

I agree that Kane should win MITB and get one last title run before he retires and actaully get a title run at a championship that matters * IE Raw or Smackdown*

Also all I can say is .... Whatever match is after HBK vs The Undertaker I feel bad for because there is no way they will top that classic

Unless it's Jericho vs ???? what ever legend they put him against. Odds are it won't be that match though. Probably some sort of cool down match and then the World Title, thats how they've done it in the past.

Matches...

Well, I'll be about 100 feet from the stage when those matches happen. After the RR match ending between HBK and Taker, THIS one has the potential to be as good if not better.

Triple H works a match better than anyone in the business right now... It's what they need to do to keep Orton in his 'heel' role. Although nobody does a heel then or now better than Edge, IMHO.

This is the one chance I have for an actual vacation with my sons, and they come over to watch the PPV's each month, kind of our 'all-together' bonding thing. So, I've seen every WM (yes, I got to see the first one in closed circuit) and even have the DVD set. This will be the first one I've ever gotten to see live.

I think that Jericho is gonna get his a$$ handed to him by a number of legends, after all the stuff he's been doing.

I'm hoping that we get to go to the HoF induction the night before, though. They grew up with Stone Cold, but *I* grew up with Ricky Steamboat... who is my #3 all time favorite wrestler.

Should be quite a show regardless, and being there live, I really don't care what matches there are, I get to see them all. 😀

I liked it better years ago when they had the territories. There was always an infusion of new talent or recycled old talent with new gimmicks. It was so unpredictable years ago!
