I wish I'd found this thread before I posted my first story. I have never really liked the long drawn out written laughter. But I'd read numerous stories where they were included, and I was dreading the thought of having to add them. I was very anxious about how my story would be perceived without it. But as I wrote it, it just found very little place in the story. What also helped tremendously was reading over some of Marquis de Sade's fiction. The written laughter simply wasn't included. And the stories rocked the hell out of my universe anyway🙂. (there are other writers on the forum who've successfully excluded the words too, don't mean to leave them out, but so far his work has left the greatest impact on me🙂).
This thread right here is another reason why I love TMF. This was a fantastic and helpful discussion, especially in making the decision to continue writing more stories.
