What's wrong with talented performers form different genres appearing at the same show together?

Nothing at all. It's just that Metallica used to be the most rebel, anti-pop, "don't give a fuck", band out there. Heck, they were nick-named "Alcoholica" back in the 80s cause they partied so much. Hate to see them now so corporate and playing by the rules. What's next? A duets cd with Justin Bieber and One Direction?

Not anymore. It's been over ten years since Newsted left. I'm glad he's moved on, and his new stuff rips!

James Hetfield would have been better off going solo at that point...

Not even Rick Rubin could zap life into a hollowed out logo. I still love Metallica, but it's been over for quite a while for me.

As for the Grammys, they're bullshit. It's time for a major music revolution. Let's go back to the 50's!
