In completely unrelated news, Maria Kanellis, Gregory "Hurricane" Helms, Paul Burchill and referee Scott Armstrong have all been released from their WWE contracts. Looks like WWE's annual spring cleaning of roster talent has begun.

Kind of sad to see Maria go. She was hot.

These themed PPV's are getting carried away. And the names aren't very creative. They're just taking the name of an established match and using it as the name of a PPV.

I guess the 'Over the Limit' PPV will be timed matches. And I hope they have a War Games match at the Survivor Series.

Maria is a good looking lady, but is as replaceable as any other "hot but can't really wrestle" diva from the last decade. Attending any local PPV's? WWE isn't interesting enough.

You hear that? I think some phones are rings for Maria and Greg Helms at least, and...yes...its true, TNA is on the other line.

I might take a shot at going to Hell In A Cell, I havent been to a WWE event in a long while. What they should do with these themed events is what TNA does (i.e. Lockdown, every match inside a steel cage) they do it with Extreme Rules, why not with TLC and Hell In A Cell? Make every match inside Hell In A Cell and make every match a TLC match.

I suppose I should, perhaps, rescind my previous comment and see what the card looks like first. I see Baltimore is holding Extreme Rules, so maybe I'll be interested if the match-ups feel right.

I have little doubt that TNA will go after Helms. I thought Burchill had loads of talent as well, but hasn't done a darn thing ever since his pirate gimmick was abandoned. As for Maria, I think it depends on how much she has on her plate. I recall an interview where she mentioned not wanting to stay in the wrestling business for the long haul.

SmackDown really needs to re-shuffle its roster of female wrestlers as it is. Currently, Mickie James is the only face diva while there are a good 5 heel divas in Beth Phoenix, Michelle McCool, Layla, Natalya and Serena. Raw has a roster of about 10 divas or so, and not all of them are even doing anything at the moment. Hopefully the post-WrestleMania draft will even out the numbers.

Charlie Haas has been released for the 15th time. Not a surprise at all. Good wrestler, but has the charisma of a pet rock... and that may be insulting to the pet rock.
