Some of you may have noticed that the web site, www.orgasmdenial.com, was recently hacked into and taken over. The opening page for the site had a pixellated Soviet-style hammer and sickle, and I have to tell you, scared the crap outta me when I saw it and realized what had happened.

After leaving as quickly as I could, I ran my anti-virus program, and, yup, found something. I think I'm ok, though.

I post this for several reasons. First, I'm scared to go back. If anyone knows if it's safe, let us know.

Second, this is a warning to others who might not be aware of the malicious actions.

And, third, if anyone reading this out there is talented enough, maybe they could lend a hand to the webmasters over at the OD site.

*sigh* My first post, and it has to be for something like this. Pity.

....Why would that cause a communist symbol to appear on your computer or even a virus? U cannot get a virus unless you download something. Also if you have proper settings, java viruses cannot be loaded unless you ok them or not

It's also worth noting that HTML itself is a programming language, and so simply viewing a web page, or HTML e-mail, can download files, viruses or ad ware to your computer. This is partly how most computers end up with so much ad ware on them, even though no one intentionally downloads or installs the stuff.

Most times a site is hacked however, it's basically just internet graffiti. They don't usually leave bombs behind to affect other people who visit the site.

Right, thew html can program popups and adaware perchance but it does require u to be on the site for a bit. But for actual viruses and trojans, itd have to be accepted by your activex controls
