In the middle of economic crisis they commit over $400,000,000 to CC, AJ and Tex.

Boston and the Angels are morons for letting this happen, as well.

Who cares? When was the last time the Yanks went to the World Series? 2001? And they lost anyway.
I am waiting for the day when they stop just buying up the superstars every year and actually build a team. Then, those stars who would have been bought up, can go to other teams and a more interesting league will come of it I think.
I remember a couple years ago, at the All-Star Game, the ENTIRE infield were Yankees EXCEPT the catcher (Pudge). I just rolled my eyes and cheered for Pudge since he was the hometown hero. Of course, he ended up going to the Yanks anyway...how ironic.

They must be cash heavy!... Other then pitching the key is to get somebody to protect AROD. I guess they feel Tex is that guy. They must have sold a shitload of season tickets and merchandise already!

not much of a baseball fan but do the yankees think that cc the postseason choke artist.. aj im always hurt burnett and mark texeria who will hit 30 homers but bat 245 are going to help them get past the red sox or the rays.. its about a team not over paying guys who wont produce and will screw the chemistry of the team
