Howard teased us. We won't see the full tickling scene until tommorow, although he ran alot of teasers.
There have been Sputniks in the tickling community, they got into space.
There have been a few John Glenns who have orbited the earth.
Yaqi can only be described as our Neil Armstrong. He is the first to actually land on the Moon that we call "Mainstream Tickling". He is now undoubtably the face of the tickling community.

i saw it to and im outraged. that was nothing but an ambush. they treated yaqi like he was garbage. like he was a freak. especially that one guy who kept shooting his mouth off. i dont know his name and i dont think i care to. i was afraid of this. i had a fairly large measure of respect for howard cause of the pamela anderson and carmen elektra thing but i just sat back and watched it evaporate. they tried to crucify him. yaqi i applaud you for your self control. you kept your dignity and thats far better then i could have done. id have just got up and walked out. thank you for what your doing, its above and beyond the call of duty and you deserved far better then the reception you got.

The guy Drkjedi is referring to is Artie, the guy who replaced Jackie Martling. And yes, Jedi is correct, the guy is an asshole. the only material he has is when he makes fun of somebody. Artie was really dwelling on the gay thing. He's either a homophobe or a closet fag.
We'll have to expect some negativity towards Yaqi. Sammy Davis Jr bore the brunt of abuse during his career, but by doing so he paved the way for all black entertainers who followed him. Yaqi is now bearing the brunt of the abuse for us. Paving the way implies that there are potholes. Tonight's pothole was Artie.
I spoke to Yaqi in the chatroom right after the show aired and he seemed gracious and glad that he took tickling into the spotlight tonight.

slight disagreement

Unfortunately I have to disagree...
The guy who kept making fun of Yaqi is Artie and I love the guy. His job is basically to make fun of people. This is what the show is. Same for Howard. This will get alot of opposition, but Yaqi did sound feminine. Also the fact that Yaqi tickles men contributed further to Howard and Artie making fun of Yaqi. Personally I don't think and don't even care how Yaqi sounds and whether he is gay or not, but you can not blame Howard and Artie for the abuse. Without that abuse, the Howard Stern show would not be the Howard Stern show and therefore Yaqi qould not be on it.
Yaqi was obviously brave and he was GREAT! 99.99% of us including myself would not have the balls to do what Yaqi does.
I hope that Yaqi gets to to to Vegas with Howard!

If you are basing your opinion on Artie just from that one show then you guys are way off on him. I listen every day and he has great stuff that he comes up with all the time. Plus he wasn't the only one who hammered on Yaqi.
You guys need to ease up on that, who cares? The fact that Yaqi had the stones to get on there and expose himself to promote this community is what counts. You should keep the topic to that.

OK guys..While i,m not pleased about Yaqi being disrespected as he was' we also have to realize that not everyone(in fact about 60% of Stern,s listeners)don,t have an interest in tickling.
Howard had to think about his ratings. So he did what he had to do to keep his regular listeners listening. Like he says;"he knows what he,s doing".
I do wish they had let Robin get into the conversation more. She seems to have an interest in the matter.(Wouldnt mind seeing her on the bed either);-)
In any case Yaqi did an awesome job of maintaining his composure,and being cool about it.

Remember that Howard admitted during the show with Yaqi that he recently was at a hotel room and tied a girl up and tickled the shit out of her before having sex with her. He obviously loves tickling and has had it on his show for years. For all we know one of the names on either TMF or AMT could actually be him. I loved the show if nothing else it said the "word" over and over! I can't wait till tonight when we see ultra ticklish Heather get tickled.

As you probably all know, the second part with the actual tickling is on tonight! Krokus: it is on the channel called E! and, in the Central time zone, is on at 10:00 p.m. (at least in Chicago). They repeat it at 1:30 a.m. that same night. For East Coasters, of course the first showing is at 11:00 p.m. and the repeat at 2:30 a.m. Other folks should adjust accordingly.

Yes, they were tough on Yaqi (as they usually are on folks) but he took it pretty well. He has real guts and to quote Sinatra (Paul Anka, actually)..."He did it HIS way"!

I watched the show last night.
Howard was brutal as always, I knew before watching that Yaqi was the bigger man than me.

Artie? He was just stupid, I didn't hate him, just thought he was stupid and stale. I listened to the show for the first time this morning. Artie was still stupid.

The first part was a big teaser, and I was feeling more bad than good in enjoying the slamming Yaqi was taking but then I've felt the same way about other Stern guests. Now the 2nd half looks like the show to watch. So those of you that missed last night... don't miss tonight!
It's on at 10pm in Chicago.

Hard to watch the abuse Yaqi but you held in there! Kudos, bigtime.

...really only stirred up Howard to jump on the homophobe bandwagon. Howard's only real interest was whether Yaqi "got chicks" through his tickling exploits. He instigated Howard to rag on Yaqi. If Artie had kept it down it may not have escalated into the jeering that it did.

Fred Norris knows to keep quiet, as does Stuttering John, Gary, and KC. Except for Robin, who is supposed to talk, Artie adds little. I'd rather hear the guy who does the Gene Simmons imitation.

Look, we all know the show is not easy on people, and that's what makes it funny, but this was close to vitriolic.

Artie was wallpaper, didn't even notice him, he was so boring.

But Heather (the first girl) was incredible!!!
Next to Farrah (MTP fame) and Mia (Paradise Vision), she's beat them both! She was incredibly ticklish!

The second girl was non-ticklish, seen her kind before.

It was a cool show and now I wonder, how many of my female friends listen to Howard. Hmmmmm...

The Best Tickling On TV i've EVER Seen!

I watched Yaqi on Howard 2nite. I LOVED it!!! Heather had some GREAT reactions, but Star was VERY disapointing. And i loved at the end during the credits where the camera man gets Star 2 tickle Heather and she ends up chasing her down the hall. That was priceless! Luckily i managed 2 tape this, so i'm gonna watch it over and over and over and over...*SMACK* OW! Anyways, ALL HAIL YAQI!!!!

I was drunk, but I know gold when I see it

so there I was, getting drunk at my friend who has cable. I'm just over on a spur of the moment thing. Lo and behold what I find on the TV, but Yaqi on Stern tickling some hot hu-hmm. It was total coincidence. I was in shock, but I did a damn good job in hiding it as I watched.
I couldn't say anything when the channel was wrongfully changed, but it was all good, since I caught the rerun just now. All I missed was much of the second, nonticklish girl, but it was stunning, I was speechless. If nothing else, it allowed me to discuss tickling very generally.
And the thing I hope most of us have finally realized; that admitting you like tickling, even if you just admit to casually liking it, is nothing you will be persecuted for.
I so wish I had cable, I would have run back home and taped it. Oh well, I'm sure one of us did, that being Yaqi.
Great job Yaqi, if anyone thought that Howard made Yaqi look in a bad way, I think it is all in the head. Like I said, if nothing else, it brought it out into the open even more than before.
