I don't know if anybody saw this, but I thought I would pass this on. This is very sad news and a great loss not only to us but family and friends.

On December 14, 2002 Yaqi lost his 16 year battle with cancer. Obviously there can not be a Yaqi's World without Yaqi and according
to his wishes, this site is now closed. We will not be accepting any more credit card orders but all mail order customers who have made purchases up to today, December 16, 2002 will be honored.


Goodbye Yaqi, we will all miss you!

What a shock, I was never aware that Yaqui was ill.. A tremendous loss to our community as a whole, We will miss you tremendously.. 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

YAQI IS NOT DEAD!!!


Here are the facts as I know them so far:

1. I am NOT DEAD!!!!!!

2. Yesterday morning someone, and I have a fucking good idea who it is, hacked my site host, deleted all content, and posted that asinine page about me being dead.

3. The same person did the same to my yahoo club, deleting all content and posting to all members about my death.

4. About my health. I do suffer from a chronic illness that I have had since my early 20's but I AM NOT DEAD YET!!

I am very touched by everyone's comments but I am absolutely sickened that someone could stoop this low for his/her amusement. This hoax has permeated my real life and I can't begin to express just how sickening it is for people to assume you are dead. It is a very out of control feeling and I am just stunned. To whomever did this, if your intention was to upset me, you have succeeded beyond your wildest dreams. I hope you are very satisfied.

About Yaqisworld. I have back-ups of all content and will put the site back up after I have worked out how to prevent something like this from ever happening again.

i don't care who did it, that is really f***ed up! glad to hear that you are still hear yaqi. you do some awesome work. if you find out who did it you should beat the hell out of 'um.
