Actually I had a couple teachers in Middle/High school who let me tickle their feet, but not their sides because it was too personal. I don't get it, but there is some basis for that claim at least. One even let me tickle her knees, but not the ribs.

It doesn't make sense to me, but I have a foot fetish (which I did NOT mention to them), so I didn't complain 😉.

Not to run off topic here but about the girls not allowing you to tickle sides or ribs....my presumption would be that you tickling there is getting close to the breasts thus making it more "personal", in their minds.
Now if one of them got sexually aroused when her feet are tickled and you were just friends...then she would probably steer you away from the feet and only let you tickle her ribs or knees.

It's one theory. I'm willing to take all the theories I can get, because it somewhat boggled me. The one I've been operating under was that women go barefoot more often than bare ribbed/midriffed. The feet are more publicly seen, and the sides are too close to a lover's embrace?

You know I've never written that theory out before, and it sucks...lol I like yours better.

To be perfectly safe, I think he should only agree to pay $0.50 per toe until he is sure she is ticklish. Science cannot "afford" to be taken by some "platinum"digger who is just after his family fortune.
