Okay, this one is totally reaching, but in the incredible `1968 Japanese film, Yokai Monsters(aka 100 Monsters), there's a strangely adorable scene. The idiot son of the evil land-lord is one of the first people whom the monsters reveal themselves to, and he quickly becomes friends with an odd-looking umbrella-monster-thing. Anyway, it starts to tickle him and lick him at one point, like a friendly puppy or something. His father hears him laughing and saying, "It tickles! Ha ha! Stop!" from the other side of the door, and, thinking that the son is in the room by himself, just shakes his head and walks on...
